I read a lot about Turkish towels and how amazing they are so I bought one for my trip to Thailand. I think it is ok, but it gets super wrinkled, which means you can't wear it as a wrap after drying off because then you look like you just rolled out of bed. So if you are looking for a lightweight towel, then this may work, but I wouldn't plan to use it as both a towel and a wrap.

Wonderful Turkish Towel. Impressed with how quickly it arrived. So soft and strong. Baby fell asleep immediately. This is perfectly thin to toss in the diaper bag or pool bag, especially in the warm California sun. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, and very true to their picture.

I admit it took one or two "dries" to get used to the different texture and feel of a Turkish towel, but after that, I was hooked!! These towels are VERY absorbent, quite large, take little room in your closet or swim/gym/beach bag, and get softer each time you wash them. What's not to love?!?

I bought this to reduce the bulk in my gym bag, and also because I'd read in a travel blog that it's useful as a garment/pillow/blanket when flying.Initially I wasn't impressed because it's stiff and a bit rough. However: after a few washings, it's definitely softened (and it washes well and dries very quickly). Over time, it's proven its worth: a great alternative to the bulky beach towel I'd used for showers at the gym, a light but effective throw for over-airconditioned cinemas, and a makeshift light shawl when there's an unexpected chill in the air.Over all, it's attractive, lightweight, and versatile.

Nothing special -- it's a very thin towel, to the point that I would not describe it as a towel, more of a beach mat that rolls into a nice small bundle, nicer than a big bulky thing. It's well made, looks decent. I ordered two of these towels in different colors at the same time from the same vendor -- one arrived quickly, the other took so long it came after I had to leave for vacation, so never got to use it. Annoying, don't know how they split up their orders, but it was aggravating for me. So -- no raves, they're different and okay, I'll keep them both.

Just received this. Based on other reviews, I'm hoping to wash it 2-3 times before our trip. After one washing it's definitely already softer.I took off a star because the colors are not what I expected. In the photo it looks like a stunning orange and dark blue combo; in real life it's like a faded denim color and coral. It's still nice, just not what I would have ordered had I known.

I saw some people complaining about how stiff it is, but even after one use getting this towel wet, it became fairly soft. After a couple washes, it's perfect. It's such a nice towel to have on-hand in my car or in a bag, because it folds up so small. It also looks super cute as a bathing suit wrap. I get compliments on it all the time! A+ I'll probably buy more!

We bought these towels for a trip to the beach. They were PERFECT. We didn't have access to laundry, so I wanted something that would dry completely between multiple uses. These are just as absorbent as plush towels, but they dry super fast and they're nice an compact to fit in a suitcase. I will eventually replace all of my plush towels with Turkish towels like these--so much less bulk, and I'll save electricity because they won't take so long in the dryer. Highly recommend!
