Maxle Ultimate Rear MTB Boost, 12x148mm (Length 180mm, Thread Length 20mm, Thread Pitch M12x1.75), Black

I have a DiamondBike Mission Pro that has 12x142 rear axle. I ordered new wheels and they come in Boost version. Front was fine as I was switching the fork to a Boost fork but rear was a problem as it has 6mm wider hub. It also uses a Shimano axle.Lucky me the rear multilink triangle is elastic enough to fit the 6mm wider axle but I could not find a suitable axle, or more exactly a nut!The options I found:1. get a hex nut from hardware store and shave it to fit inside the frame where the Shimano nut fits - did not want to have a rusting piece of steel there.2. get a Maxle axle and then find a nut for it. I found that the DiamondBack Mason nut will work but it is very lose inside the frame hole. That would have been my fallback if nothing else found.3. get a Maxle axle and a nut from a T2101 Kinetic 12mm Thru Axle Coarse and only shave the nut edges a bit.I used #3 with this Maxle axle. I only had to shorten a few mm from the axle to make it flush with the nut face. Depending on your frame you may or may not need to do this. I also tried the 188mm Maxle and that was way too long.

Great product and Great delivery time. Fits my bike but my only complaint is why does the rear thru axle cost more than the front when its basically the same thing. Makes removing your tires much, much easier. A must have for MTB in my opinion.

Amazon was able to have this part shipped and delivered within 24 hours...amazing! The part is typical SRAM with great fit and finish.

Way better than what came with my bike.

Attenzione il perno ha un passo da 1.75 non è riportato nell'inserzione e non c'è una foto chiara dal quale si possa evincere.In definitiva, non è compatibile con la e-st900 per la quale serve invece un M12x1.5.Metto una stella per l'annuncio poco chiaro con poche foto e dato tecnico mancante, prezzo eccessivo e tribolazione per la restituzione poiché sembrerebbe che la spedizione sarebbe a mie spese.
