2 Consecutive HEQI Ballast Failures or Malfunctions In A 2006 Range Rover L322
The media could not be loaded. The video accompanying this review was taken after installing the second HEQI ballast in a 2006 Range Rover HSE. There are several 'flickers' which are not that visible in the video and two or three 'flashes' which are very noticeable. Finally, in less than three minutes, the headlamp shuts down completely because of the ballast.The first ballast I received failed in exactly the same way. I initially believed it to be a product defect and arranged to return it to Amazon. They promptly shipped a replacement which I installed the day I received it.It too fails and I now believe the issue is likely a design defect. I have one good ballast and the HEQI ballast. When I put the good ballast in the driver or passenger headlight the light works properly. When I put the HEQI ballast in either headlight it behaves as shown in the video. Ultimately the headlight shuts down in less than 5 minutes which is exactly what the first HEQI ballast did.I don't know how it may perform in other vehicles but I would recommend anyone considering it for a 2006-2009 Land Rover product with Xenon headlights to steer clear of this ballast.I chose this brand because of the advertised 3 year warranty but having two consecutive 'out of the box' failures suggests to me it is an inferior product for my application.

May not last very long.
Installed a pair of these in my 2011 Town & Country on March 20th, 2023. One was bad upon installation. The second ballast went bad on May 15th, 2023. Not a very good investment since I am out the labor cost as well as the cost of the product.Amazon said the seller was on vacation in May. Well, where are they. I need the ballasts! And should not shell out additional money! Where is the Warranty?? Where is the Seller?

Works and reasonably priced.
Works and looks like oem part.The only thing I’ve noticed is when starting the car the light goes off then comes back on compared to oem that stays lit throughout starting process.
