I love this safe!! I live with housemates so I need to make sure that my personal papers, money and any other private things are safe while Im away even though that I have a camera in my room. This safe is strong. I like that there is an emergency case(2 coppies) in case u forgot the password. Also, I love the size of it and I attached photos to my comment to compare its size to my Dell Laptop. Definitely recommend and its perfect for me. PS: it comes with batteries so no need to pay extra!!

Purchased 10 months earlier. Unit began emitting beeping noises randomly. Contacted customer service: they requested a video showing the fault. Because of the random nature, it was difficult to capture on video but I succeeded. After submitting this info, they took over a week to reply. They declared they would repair the issue but I would have to pay for the shipping to and from the US; I live in Canada. Those shipping fees would amount to roughly the price of a new unit. I then contacted Amazon.ca who indicated they would cover return shipping and provide me credit for the item. SereneLife makes the prospects of honouring their warranties too cumbersome and inconvenient for their customers. They sold me a defective product and would not guarantee customer satisfaction.

El mecanismo y los acabados son muy buenos, el material se siente un poco delgado y debil, los tornillos y los taquetes que vienen para su instalacion se rompen con facilidad y no tienen gran fijacion a los muros.Compre dos piezas y las perforaciones en ambas eran distintas, mientras que una tenia cuatro perforaciones de fondo y traía 4 taquetes para la instalacion, la otra tiene dos perforaciones al fondo y dos en la base, ademas solo contenia dos taquetes.

Hi Sophie-----sorry for being so late in my reply as I was away and just got a chance to check things out. The product is not what I was expecting-----in the way of security. Here is the problem----I need a safe that is fire proof and this safe would not provide me with this feature. First of all I don't intend to mount it and secondly there are too many holes for the number of screws or materials to attach the safe to a wall. Even when you put the screws in the holes----there is light meaning that flames could penetrate the holes and destroy the material inside of the safe. When ordering this product, I thought this is perfect in the qualities and the fantastic price. If the holes were not in the product----IT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT. Please reply with some advice------thank you------Brian
