Q: Can these be removed to clean or dry out and then reinstalled or does the tackiness fade?

I would say no. They don't go on very strong with the adhessive in the first place. They gain strength and blending by traffic. I would not remove one unless I planned on gluing it down the next time.

Q: Is it good for installing in living area and bedroom? Will there be a problem on kids playing on this carpet ?

We installed it in our master bedroom at we really like it. It is durable and should not be a problem with kids. The first four boxes color did not match each other. They did correct it right away. We are very pleased with it. Order a little extra so you can replace a square if needed

Q: Can I use it on my concrete basement floor?

This product can be installed on concrete, below grade. When installing any flooring product in a basement, make sure you do not have any moisture penetration before installation to avoid mold and mildew as this is the most common issue below grade. Also, make sure to clean the floor prior to installation as dust will affect the adhesion of the carpet tile.

Q: I want to to put this down temporarily for the grand kids over my tile floor. Will the adhesive ruin my tile floor? Do i have to use adhesive at all.

The adhesive will not damage the floor, but it may leave residue behind when removing. The residue can be removed with a little dish soap and water mixture fairly easily, but you may want to consider using our underlayment available on our website (www.berkshireflooring.com) as an added layer of protection. The underlayment allows for a "floating" installation.
