They are shorter than most competitors’ bulbs (3.3 cm tall from the metal surrounding) to ensure they fit in your headlight housing. They produce more light and use less energy than halogen lights. They emit light using gas capsule instead of tungsten filament; and because there is no filament to burn out, these bulbs can last for as much as 10 times longer. The quality of light emitted by the HID lights is closer to that of natural daylight, making them better than the traditional halogen lights. We offer a variety of color temperatures. The temperatures, in degrees kelvin indicates the hue of the light produced by the HID bulbs. The color characteristics of temperatures are: 3000K= Deep gold-yellow, 4300K= Bright White with a hint of yellow, 5000K= Pure white light, 6000K= White with a blue hint, 8000K= Light blue, 10000K= Deep blue light, 12000K= Deep bluish violet light.

Cheap Chinese POS
I bought 16 pairs of these. They are cheap Chinese junk. Poorly constructed and the ground wire pulled right out of the bulb. When I returned it they only processed a partial refund.
