Great tool to “form & fit” ANY area, corner, etc ...to measure. No need to have to formulate Angela. Tool is precise and makes work like carpentry, DIY’s, or Craft projects fun! My time is focused on creativity & joy and not frustration to figure out a corner or other shapes like triangles, octagon, etc...One of our Best Purchases!!!

I got this contour gauge for some of my DIY projects with my router tool. It works great! I was so surpsied with how well the lock held. The free carpenter's pencil was also a very nice touch.The box comes with everything you'll need for this tool, including the allen wrench. If I were to change anything about this, I'd integrate the allen key holder with the gauge and not tape it on.

This is a christmas gift, so it hasn't been tested, but the concept seems to be perfect for my father in law who is building a room

I needed the Contour Gauge to use while building breakfast nook seating in the kitchen. It worked great. It locks solid while transferring the pattern. Each segment of the Gauge is exactly 1/16 of an inch, which makes it very easy to translate the pattern into measurement.

Just received...and since I'm in-between projects...can't tell how much simpler this will make difficult cuts/angles...but it's GOT to be better than my usual "measure once & cut several times"...

Has worked well for my indoor upgrades, particularly flooring, cove base and trim.

I like the ease of use while laying flooring

The quality of these contour gauges seems very good but I had 2 issues with them once I started using them.Issue 1. It comes with a small hex key to tighten or loosen the movement but there is nowhere on the product to store the key, so I’ll probably lose it after I use the gauges a few times (or once lol).Issue 2. You tighten or loosen the movement of the shaping pieces using set screws that easily unscrew right out of the gauge if you loosen too much (which I did)Other than those 2 issues, the product looks and works great.
