New, redesigned smaller version of the original BOSU Balance Trainer and is constructed with the same rim and base style. The sleek, compact 22" design allows for easy transportation and storage, quick positioning for any type of workout and is ideal for fitness entusiasts and athletes of all ages. Review: Great for a small space; still sturdy and secure - Very happy with this smaller version of the Bosu Ball so far! It's perfect for use in my smaller office space where I work out each morning. I highly recommend if you have a small area, as the size provides better maneuverability. The box was a bit damaged when it arrived but the ball is fine. Note that when you first get it you may need to pump it up a few times as the ball stretches (at least, I have done it twice and likely need to once more). The ball isn't losing air it's just adjusting. :)

Works really well for my Intensity Workout and is easy to store and protect from my cats by simply draping my yoga mat over it when not in use. I do, however, need to use a folded up yoga/sticky mat underneat, as it can slide when doing front lunges on a carpet. No fault of the Bosu, just something I learned with certain moves. The sticky mat keeps it nice and secure and safe. The Bosu is very very challenging and takes a few weeks to master in terms of safety and being able to execute moves. My balance has increased to a degree I've never achieved before and I'm pretty stoked about that. I'm also able to do my entire intensity workouts, every move, after only two weeks of being a newbie. This is a smaller Bosu, so if you are tall or have a wide stance, you may want to buy the larger Bosu. I'm 5'6" and struggled a bit with it at first but realized it was because I was so bad at it. Hahah. I'm now able to balance on it and feel its' a good size for me.

**Q: Does this come already inflated?**
A: It does not come inflated.  A hand pump and plug is provided in the package and it takes about 2 to 3 minutes to inflate.  It is a very simple set up.

**Q: The product didn’t come with instructions or plug. How do you get one sent to you?**
A: I went online and ordered a plug.
Just blow it up and carefully insert plug!

**Q: I know some training equipment uses different colors to differentiate resistance, size, etc.  Is that the case here or are the colors only cosmetic?**
A: The patents describes this as having pressure based resistance. The amount of inflation you use should be based off of the weight of a person using it. The manufacturer has instructions on how to calculate this. The durability of the material is the same regardless of color, and designed to support maximum load, in this case it's 250 pounds.

**Q: Does it work for strengthening weak ankles?**
A: It is used in physical therapy for tendinitis, so it is used to strengthen weak ankles by balancing. It is often used flat side up for more difficulty, too.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Physical Therapy for Cerebral Palsy

My four-year-old daughter is in physical therapy for cerebral palsy. Her physical therapist uses the BOSU ball in her therapy sessions, and my daughter loves it. It is great for developing her balance and for stretching the muscles in her foot and heel. My daughter loved it so much we bought one for her to use at home (with her physical therapist's approval). She uses it for her physical therapy "homework". It came assembled; we just used the included pump to inflate it, which was easy and fast. It was so easy that we overinflated it at first - instructions say it should be inflated to 8 inches tall with the dome side up or 6 1/2 inches with the dome side down. It is easy to carry or slide across our tile floor (there aren't grips on the bottom so we need to get a mat to put it on). For safety, it is only for use standing on the ball part. The quality is great - super thick, sturdy construction and materials. We love it!!
