I bought these hoops to make tassel earrings like I'd seen on my favorite online boutique. They worked great for that and I even wear them as is. Plan to make and sell a few tassel knockoffs.

These are sturdy and the actual hoop looks shiny and smooth. The post however is a bit scratchy, and the pair I tried on made my ears itch almost immediately. But everyone's ears are different, and each pair of earrings is a little better/worse than the next. The clasp works reliably and is sturdy. Overall they work for making jewelry but they wouldn't be great if you are trying to make and sell a high quality finished product.

I purchased these earrings to make polymer earrings with to sell. They take the heat from my oven great. And they do not irritate my customers ears. I will continue to purchase these earrings until they run out
