Other reviewers were correct! This bedspread puts out so much fuzz, you could stuff a teddy bear with it. I love the yellow color, the old fashioned style. The 100% cotton. But the fuzz is a giant drawback. It's unbelievable. I washed it once. I tried to pull out one of the fluffy threads, and they pull out easily. this is not stitched together. The threads are punched in, probably with a little glue. The fuzz will never stop! That is why it comes out in the dryer!

I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY BEDRIDDEN MOTHER BECAUSE I KNEW IT WOULD BE NICE AND WARM, WHICH IT IS BUT LIKE WITH ALL BEDDING I BUY, I WASH BEFORE AND THIS IS HORRIBLE! IT PRODUCED SOOO MUCH LINT THAT I RAN MY DRYER MORE THAN 2 TIMES AND IT WAS STILL SO MUCH LINT THAT EVEN HANDLING IT IN THE LEAST BIT WAS BAD BECAUSE OF ALL THE LINT UP YOUR NOSE, IN YOUR EYES AND EVERYWHERE ELSE.......HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! THIS BEDSPREAD WOULD BE A HEALTH HAZARD TO MOTHER IF I WERE TO COVER HER WITH IT......IT IS THAT BAD! I HAD TO FINALLY FOLD IT AND PUT IT BACK INTO THE PLASTIC BAG IT CAME IN TO CONTROL THE QUALITY OF AIR IN MY HOME, YES, THAT BAD! IT SAID SOME FIBER SHEDDING MAY OCCUR FOR THE FIRST FEW WASHINGS BUT THIS ONE WON'T MAKE IT.....IT'S NOT WORTH THE CHANCE ESPECIALLY WHEN I PURCHASED ONE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY HERE ON AMAZON THAT PRODUCED A NICE AMOUNT OF LINT IN THE DRYER BUT NOTHING LEFT OVER IN THE WASHER LIKE THIS ONE AND NO ISSUES WITH FLYING LINT EVERYWHERE AND ON EVERYTHING AFTER REMOVING IT FROM THE DRYER AND FOLDING IT.

The pictures are better looking than it actually is. It shedded from the moment I removed it from the bag to view and wash. I medium fluff dried, then air dried it for 3 days. I should have taken pictures of how my dryer vent was filled with the shedding after four cycles of running it with just a bleach towel, unbelievable! Finally all floors and carpet cleaned of this, I decided to put it on my bed. It still had the same look, and was still shedding so I had to take it back off. I can’t see myself using this blanket cause of how bad it sheds. Don’t buy it if you like a clean house. It wasn’t as well defined as the pictures of it, and if I keep washing it, I’m sure it’ll only be less to my liking, just disappointed experience especially for the price. If you took a fluffy cotton ball and ripped it up, tossed it around that’s the experience.

I bought this for Christmas because my version of this keeps me warm breaths very well, because of its 100% cotton.It'll work well I'm warmer weather (breaths) & cold weather. I simply use it with a 100 % cotton thermal blanket, for really cold night's. Because it's cotton even as you get warm, you don't become uncomfortablely warm like you do with microfiber or other synthetic fabric.Layering is the way the we use to stay warm at night before man-made fabrics & frankly work's better. I personally sleep much better with this set up. If you like a weighted blanket, this is big enough to add a sight pull to the sides.Worderful for making the bed, just neatly spread it over the edge's. Helps keep dust bunnies from under your bed.It's going to release a lot y fuzz at the 1st washing's.Really nice thing is my high efficiency but not heavy duty washing machine can spin most of the water out of this, many blankets hokd so much water my washer struggles to spin & drain . I'm putting a cotton bed spread on all of my household beds.It's getting hard to find any cotton bedding in the market, unless you pay a bundle, this is a great price & a good product.

I was very disappointed with the bedspread. It was very cheap and thin. It looks like a dirty, old bath rug. I have no idea how they can call this product "Luxurious"?! There is nothing luxurious about the fabric. It is rough, and thin and cheap. I will be returning it. I purchased the bedspread and purchased the two standard shams separately.

I am not returning this item as I don't have the packaging any longer. However, I need you to know what having this bedspread has done in my home. At first I thought it was just because it was new that I had brown fuzz on the floor of my bedroom. Later I found more and more of this brown fuzz all over. I actually found it in my hair and on my clothes. I hope I didn't breath too much of it. I am still finding brown fuzz all over now I put it in a plastic bag. Either this one was defected or they may all be like this. I feel like I will be cleaning brown fuzz for a long time as it is behind and under my furniture. Thank you for letting me vent about this product. In checking my records you can see I have bought many things from Amazon and I don't think I ever have been this dissatisfied.

This bedspread is awful. It gets lint on everything in my bedroom. Ive washed it 3 times and dried it at least 9 times trying to remove all the lint but it hasnt worked. I wont be able to use this so I will probably donate it. Complete waste of money!!!!!

The spread is beautiful, just not long enough to cover the pillows on the bed. The teal color is also gorgeous. And I did think it would be softer. We washed and dried it the first time in a commercial size washer and dryer. No really issues with lint so far.When will the Teal King Size Shams be available??

Of all the items I have purchased through Amazon, this is the BEST! It is NOT heavy, but the chenille is luxurious. It is very soft and light weight. But, most of all, the size is perfect. It is a true bedspread, coming almost down to the floor on three sides and covering the pillows at the top of the bed. No need for pillow shams. The yellow colour I selected is actually a slightly softer tone than I thought from the picture, so even better than anticipated. I had been procrastinating in ordering this item for over a year as I was so sure I would be disappointed. NOT AT ALL!!!

This is the second chenille bedspread I have bought from this company. The first was a king in a beautiful sage colour. I loved it so much I bought the soft powder blue one! They are of superior quality and remind me of my bedspreads when I was a child. I can’t say enough about them. Extremely well made and so large! They hang superbly over the sides of our king pine bed. I’m encouraging my sister to purchase one as well. And, they didn’t take very long to ship either. You won’t be sorry about purchasing one…honest.

I miss read the description and thought for the price it came with shams......that's why it gets a 4 rating....other than that it is a beautiful bedspread.....

Just love this bedspread. The size was perfect for our bed. Almost touches the floor. The yellow is as I wanted and the weight is also good. Could add a top blanket in winter.
