Ben And Holly's Little Kingdom: The Magic Collection [DVD]

This is a sweet show full of whimsy. It teaches children about friendship and dealing with people and nature. It even teaches about recycling! My niece and I love to watch this show together. The whole family will enjoy the adventures in the "Little Kingdom".

Buy a $30 region free dvd from amazon and you can watch this dvd and not give it a bad review because you didn't pay attention. My 2 year old loves this show

Lots of run time for the money

Bought for my out of state niece for Christmas. Her parents decided to wait and give for her 4th Birthday since she received a lot of xmas presents! First time in the DVD player and NONE of the discs play at all! My sister's DVD player reads "error". There is no physical damage to ANY of the brand new discs. Notified company and they will not refund nor will they replace.

I had to buy a certain DVD player in order to view the DVD.

as good as Peppa Pig!

I was upset when these did not play. The product now shows the region issue right under the picture. We were able to play it in our pc with a hmdi cord to our smart TV.

I personally prefer these to the Pig one the company do. Nanny Plum pretty much says what we are thinking. AAs I said, can be 2 hours of silence or 2 hrs of questions. Got a couple of others in the series.

Notre fille de 4 ans adore les petits personnages. Les histoires sont mignonnes et les épisodes courts (10’ environ) ce qui permet de limiter le temps d’ecran. Un anglais très simple et me semble-t-il parfaitement prononcé.

What I don't like about watching Ben & Holly on YouTube is the loud advertising directed at my kids, so it's an easy choice here to find many hours of episodes in screen-filling format with better definition that otherwise available. This is the same crowd that does / did Peppa Pig, the animation style is identical, and you can have fun figuring out the voice matches. [For fans of Ms Rabbit and her many sisters, she occurs here as the leading character, Mistress Plum]. The humor remains entertaining for children, and is even more archly directed at adults / parents. [Any resemblances between the Mayor of the Elves and of London are I am sure coincidental]. And what sort of twisted mind comes up with a ladybird named Gaston who fetches and enjoys having his tummy rubbed?As for Zone incompatibility: the very cheapest ($25) outboard USB CD burners aren't smart enough to recognize zone controls, and you can play all your foreign DVDs this way. We have a large collection of British and Polish movies we regularly watch like this.

Ho preso l'abitudine di guardare i cartoni animati insieme a mia figlia (ancora piccolina) in lingua originale inglese: non soltanto condividiamo un momento ludico ma lo trasformiamo in un pretesto istruttivo sia per me che per lei. I cartoni animati prodotti in Gran Bretagna (Ben&Holly's Little Kingdom; Peppa Pig) sono non soltanto un delicato esempio di civiltà equa evoluta e paritaria, ma hanno un inglese perfetto per l'apprendimento di entrambe: parlato in maniera fluida e in maniera leggermente più lenta rispetto al ritmo del dialogo di un film, piace molto alla mia piccola e lo trovo ironico persino per me che di anni ne ho 38. Il cofanetto contiene 4 dvd con una decina di episodi ciascuno, arrivato in perfette condizioni e puntualmente come sempre, ha una ottima qualità audio/video.

子どもたちはこれだけで英語と習うこともなく、英語で会話しています！いまどき、幼児に日本語のアニメを見せるなんてなんてもったいない時間をすごしているんだ！と、感じます。テレビは見せなきゃいけないものではなく、出来れば見せたくないもの。でも、どうせ見せるなら効果のあるものを見せたいと思い、こちらにしました。動作で言葉の内容が幼児に予想できなければ、いくら見せても英語力は上がりません。その点では、言葉が分からなくても雰囲気で何の会話をしているか分かりやすい、とてもいい内容だと思います。D〇Eとか高い教材買わなくても、これだけで十分！！
