used 3 months keep freezing, need to restart all the time. not recommend.

The size of the mirror is great as it offers a much larger view than the original and the 4.5" screen makes for a useful setup compared to the previous stand alone dash cam I had setup.I put it in reverse, and the display gave me what looked like a road. He hooked it up to my backup lights, so that whenever I put my car in reverse, the automatic backup monitoring was triggered. That was cool, it was telling me where to go, where there was no obstacles. It was like a lit up road!!! On my rear view mirror... (so awesome) So then we were on the road, & I came to a red light and started to play with the buttons. What I absolutely love is the option to change the cameras views. I had been driving to where I could see in front of me in the rear view mirror in the bigger screen, and in the smaller screen was what was behind me. When I started to play with the buttons, I changed it to where what was behind me was in the bigger screen, and what was in front of me was in the smaller screen. I have no idea why I have an insufferable need to have a picture in picture, but I do. I feel like this was made for me to take advantage of all of its capabilities, and it would be wrong of me to not want to use all of the capabilities that this has. I'm totally justifying it, and I'm okay with that.I used the included MicroSD card (SanDisk by the way!) at first then switched to a larger (32GB) SanDisk card and it worked as expected.I absolutely love that it's as large as it is. The 4.5 inch display screen is so cool, and it's really a very large rear view mirror. I hate to call it a mirror because that's not even what it is, but it's kind of like a mirror. It's mirroring what it sees. The resolution is 8 megapixels, and it's really clear, and definitely better than I thought it was going to be. I wasn't expecting fuzzy, but I definitely was not expecting it to be as beautiful as it is.I was a little worried about the rear view camera, it has been raining a lot, so after we came back from the first drive it started to rain really badly, and the only thing that I could think of was oh my gosh what if it gets ruined. I know that it says that it's waterproof, but I was still worried. When I got back into my car, it still worked perfectly.I'm not quite sure about the smart recording for the automatic motion, crash detection. I really don't ever want to find out, because that would mean that I'm about to get into an accident. But! The recording with the G sensor monitoring while parking, and the automatic display off whenever it goes into energy saving mode is kind of cool. The emergency video recording is also a great feature, & I really think that this is something that every parents should buy their children! Since it is just one button to push and it will do the video recording and save it, that could come in handy for a few different scenarios that I really don't want to spell out. It makes my stomach hurt, but I definitely love the feature.When we got back from our drive, he asked me if I wanted to look at all of the instruction manual to find all of the features. I told him no because it is very easy to operate. The user interface is amazing, and it's not difficult to figure out especially if you didn't install it yourself. As much as I would love to take credit and say that I installed this myself, I'm not going to lie. :-)There is not one person that I would not recommend this too! I think it's perfect for everyone, & I think that it is amazing. Since this has the rubber straps on the back, it just slips over your rear view mirror. I didn't know that, & I actually thought that he was going to have to take my rearview mirror off to put this one on, and I'm really glad that I was wrong. So this can go in any vehicle! I guess that's what my point was. Again, not one person could I say that this would be a bad idea for!

The canera works perfect HD front analog back up camera even with guidelines I have to adjust and have it tested of course set up the back camera draw power from the back up light Love the dual live screen views,simultaneous records both camera same time diferent folders each cam.Park Monitor when the car gets hit in park it will record seconds adjusting the g sensor to high,The back up camera has led s they light up when back in up Note need to plug in power from back up light for this feature and guidelines the back up camera stills gets power from the AV cable and it will record still regarless if you don't connect to the back up light.One thing about vehicle electronics in general is HEAT weather resistant to the back camera the inside of a vehicle gets real hot that's where 90% of aftermarket gadgets or intruments fail also direct sunlight in the mornings cause some damage is imposible to keep safe gadgets inside vehicles but if the next generation of vehicle gadgets are heat proof that's where I will GO to buy.On the other hand I love a camera for safety have been hit moore than ever specialty on a small compact vehicle Trucks,Bus are having trouble seeing my small kia so I am tired and afraid of car insurance even if you re not at fault your rates may get higher and with some evidence of video I can appeal a lower rate or the same rate al least,And besides can also review videos of me driving how am I doing,and makes some changes on my driving habbits for safety and save on car parts.

I would give it five stars, but the manual is lousy, and is not web supported, you must be trying different buttons, to see what happens.
