The Little Mermaid

Arrived worn out and obviously used and some parts broken!!

A good sturdy well illustrated book. Sliding sections work well, nice to search for the hidden mouse.

Please note that this book is based on the Hans Christian Anderson version. This explains why the little mermaid has blonde hair instead of red and why she doesn’t marry the prince at the end. I probably wouldn’t have of bought it had I known. That said, my daughter loves the book as she doesn’t know the Disney version yet. The illustrations are great and it has a nice rhyming storyline to it, although a tad too short for my liking. The pull/push tabs are also fun for little hands. Just wish it was the Disney version instead!

My niece loves these books, but I love them more! They are sturdy, tell the fairytales in a way that's not too scary and are absolutely beautiful!

My niece loves the book I got it for her 2nd birthday. The pages are colourful with some activities. Printing quality is really nice
