Aleene'sTry Me' Size 3-Pack Fabric Tacky Pack

Wasn’t sure which Aileene’s fabric glue I needed so this was the perfect set! I got 3 choices and in a great set with good sizes too!

If you enjoy making miniaitures, this samples starter pack is a must have. You can glue fabric seams rather than sewing the, and have a very professional looking result. Be sure to use a pin to pierce bottles so you get a small amount of glue. I made the mistake of cutting a hole in the top and too much glue comes out at once/

This is a great kit of Aleene products! Small enough to easily pack for quilt retreats.

I have only tried the Stop Fraying from the trial pack but I do like it. It dries crystal clear, which Fray Check does not, especially on darker fabrics. However, it seems to stay tacky for quite a while. I put in on a satin ribbon the day I got it (March 30) and today it is still slightly sticky. I'm thinking that over time that stickiness will resolve itself. Having said that, I WILL continue to use it. It is a much thinner, more attractive finish to the edge of a ribbon than what I have achieved with Fray Check. And you can't beat the trial pack for value!

I've used Aleene's products for years, but recently I needed a product I don't usually use, the "fray stop,: for one small project. The last thing I wanted to do was order a big bottle and have it stay around, in the way, eventually drying up because I so rarely use it. This 3-pack was perfect. Tremendous value and a chance to get just the amounts I need for small or rare projects.

I thought it was a good idea to get mini bottles of these 3 items, although I only needed the fabric fusion. It's sealed in a paper & plastic packaging, & when I went to use it, it was pretty dried up. It was only about $5, but a brand new product shouldn't arrive to me unusable. I regret buying this, I don't know if it was just a flook thing or are these very old & dried out? Either way, it's wasted money. If mine was dried out, I assume other people that bought this got dried out products, too. Not acceptable & I didn't use it until after my return date was past, so I was stuck with useless fabric bonder. I don't expect the other 2 bottles to be different. This was a truly lousy purchase. Fabric fusion is a good product, just not when it's all dried up. Then, it is completely useless & doesn't work to bond fabric together. I guess I'll have to get another bottle from a different seller & hope for the best. Very disappointed.
