Great bit of kit. I keep one in Finland and one in the UK it
It works equally well as a striker and as a bearing for a bow dril set, they take a bit of time to wear in so be patient.All said I got it to ignite my tinder first time without any fuss.

Good item
The fire striker itself is good quality but the supplied flint is just a chunk of flint it doesn’t appear as a piece of knapped flint so I replaced it with a knapped flint I already had

BEWARE THE STEEL STRIKER THAT DOESNT THROW SPARKS
Having used steel strikers plenty of time in my life.On seeing this moderately priced steel striker,advertised as high carbon steel,I thought there’ll be plenty of sparks thrown from this little fella.I could NOT get this fire steel to produce sufficient sparks to even catch char cloth!!!!!!!This my my experience is unheard of unless the steel in question is dramatically faulty or has extremely low carbon content!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Not so good.
Steel and flint too small. Flint needs to be bigger. Quality of steel and bag good, but thats about it. Eat your food cold, its quicker.
