Marty Robbins - 16 Biggest Hits

I started loving Marty Robbins when I was about in 4th grade. My brother was in the USAF & had left his stereo at my parents house. I'd play his gunfighter ballads &Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues every morning before i went to school. I finally got to meet him in B'ham after a concert. He was so nice that he even autographed my Oak Ridge Boys tshirt. It was a thrill of a lifetime!!! I've loved Marty for about 50 years.

Great music from a great time in a Great America. When people worked hard, struggled to get along, celebrated without reservation the Greatest Country the world has ever seen and there were no snowflakes.

Can't get enough of Marty Robbins. Needed the CD to replace old records so I can listen on the road.

Marty Robbins is a legendary balladeer whose engaging and entrancing vocals and songwriting should never be forgotten. As a child ofthe 60s, I did not grow up listening to Marty's unique style but now I can appreciate his true worth. There is nothing better than a roadtrip from Montana to Arizona and singing with Marty through mountain passes and desert highways, past historic route 66.

Who cannot just love this man?!?? His voice is sooo unique, his style sooo debonair. It's a shame he was taken away from us at such an early age. The memories that this product brings up is like living when the world was gentler, kinder, and words like he has in his songs meant something. So glad I was able to buy his many collections from you and that you actually stocked them. I couldn't afford to buy his albums when I was younger but I never doubted for a moment that my day would come . . . and it has!

I like any music by Marty Robbins. He puts such feeling in his songs. I still have more CDs of his to buy because some of the songs that appear in his videos are not on the albums that I presently own.

I love listening to this CD. It's nice to hear the old hits.
