Compact and does the job
Other coil spring compressors failed to do the job But these were up to the challenge and easy to use.

One rod is slightly bent
I used it once, one rod is slightly bent but it did it's job.I was a bit concerned, I care about my teeth... Size is ok, not the best but ok, I was able to replace a coil spring in my Zoe with these.

Tool works well, but carry case lets it down
Tool itself is good quality. Has nifty safety pins that reassuringly hold the clamp in place.Disappointed that the case was incomplete. I'd imagine this is an AMAZON fault rather than the manufacturer/supplier. It's surprisingly annoying how this makes the product less in quality. The cardboard box it arrived in was in good condition and thoroughly searched, so it was a packing error! Its not possible to complain to AMAZON, only express negativity in the review which is not really fair on the product itself.

Better than expected!
Used to compress two springs. Only downside is that it could scratch off the paint on the new springs so I’d put something in between to protect the paint.

Very Dangerous
These don't grip the spring at all. They are angled which means that they unpredictably slide around the spring suddenly while under tension. They slide around the spring until both compressors are on the same side, which causes them to get trapped to the spring. I now need to figure out how to get the things off without injury or damage. The sudden jolt of the tool sliding around the spring has caused damage to the spring and the shock absorber.
