Works very well, 3rd channel is limited in it's abilities.
Nice little Radio and Receiver.3rd channel is strictly on/off (full left/full right).TX is a little hefty but still feels good in your hand and is well balanced and the Receiver is so small you need to be careful not to set it down and lose it :)Instructions were simple but understandable. It has your standard trim knobs and a Steering rate knob. Then there is a 3 positions Throttle Limiter (basically a 3 position Throttle Rate switch) 100%, 75%, 50%. Cool feature and very nice for indoor driving or for letting your novice friend/child drive your car around at a slower speed. There doesn't seem to be any way of adjusting endpoints or any further tweaking but, for the price it seems pretty nice.Since they are so cheap now I'm buying a few more 3ch receivers and putting them in my older cars to convert them from the old AM radio (Futaba). Why have all those radios when I can just bind the receivers to one radio? And with the 3rd channel I can add lights!

Price, quality, and ease of use just right for newbie RC model builder
I'm fairly new at RC model building and wanted something decent for my first kit without spending "pro" money. Got this for my 1/10 Tamiya Brat and it works so well, I can't really fathom spending more on something similar. Setup was very simple, as receiver and transmitter were pre-synchronized. The receiver antenna is super short, and at first I was concerned about range. Not a necessary concern, as it turns out... this thing has a better range than my vision/depth perception does. :)As others have mentioned, controls are very sensitive. Trim adjustments are easy and require a very light touch.

Does The Job - Look's Good
It came as described. And after installing it on my Tamiya TL-01, I did not need to bind the transmitter and receiver together. It came bound already. Now here is my con about this controller system already. The TH-Limit L-M-H does not work right when you adjust the TH N-R. When I pulled the trigger to go foward, it would go in reverse and when I adjusted the N-R switch to make my car go foward, the TH-Limit L-M-H only works on reverse now. It changed when I adjusted the TH N to R. Another thing, the knobs do not have a center click when you turn it left or right. It only has a line to show center. Plus if you reverse your steering switch, the knobs are opposite. Right is left and left is right (not a big deal for me). So all in all, for the price, this radio system works fine so far. Not sure the distance yet on how far the radio system will go but will check it out later. Also I have bought another one for my Tamiya Lunchbox and it works great. The Throttle is set to normal and using TH-Limit L-M-H works perfect. On H, my Lunchbox would wheelie so much. And when I set it to M, the Lunchbox has no wheelie action. The foward throttle is medium and the TH Limit is doing it's job.Again, my opinion this RX/TX works and feels great. Love the foam steering wheel! I'd recommend this if your on a budget even though the minor switch issues when you reverse them.

They take a beating and keep working brilliantly. There is no antenna to break and the ...
I just ordered my third GoolRC 2.4GHz TG3 Digital Radio Remote today. My other two radios work flawlessly and they are extremely durable. I have several micro rock crawlers that are used as loaners at my local club. These radios are used by multiple kids and dropped and thrashed on regularly. They take a beating and keep working brilliantly. There is no antenna to break and the trigger mechanism and steering wheel are stout. It is comfortable in the hands of both kids and adults, but it might be a little too large for tikes. The receiver is super-tiny (perfect for micro RC vehicles), and the remote is powered by 4 AA batteries--not 8 like many other radios in this price range. Speaking of batteries, these radios are super efficient--the batteries last for weeks even with cheap dollar store batteries. The seller ships very quickly--the packages usually arrive days before the shipping estimate. I highly recommend this radio for those that are looking for a no-thrills 2.4GHz system that is ultra rugged and quite nice looking too.

Works great! Great value! Biy it!
Works great. Only uses 4 batteries. Range is fine. Great basic radio and receiver for the price. Ill buy a couple more receivers for the other cars so i can use this radio with them. The receivers are CHEAP!! Id buy more of needed. Oh and the GOOLRC stickers come off! I replaced them with team associated stickers and it lools better than a rtr radio.

Potentiometer seized after <5 hours of use.
I like the transmitter. It works well and the 3 way throttle control switch (high-medium-low) is a great feature for going from bashing to crawling.Only 1 stars though as after less than 5 hours of dry use the throttle trigger potentiometer has seized. The throttle is barely able to be moved now.. so it is basically useless unless I can source the correct potentiometer in a quantity less than 200 coming direct from China..

Great Radio Built DX2E with 3rd Channel
I bought this Radio for the 3rd Channel feature. It works Awesome. Click of button and my Second servo Shifts my Axial Trophy Truck from 1st to second..Why the 3 Stars? The instructions are basic and display no Advanced features about the remote.3 Channel Remotes with no way to set end points on 3 Rd channel.Or How do you enter Program Mode for this remote?..Those things made me spend Hours Constructing extra pieces because I had no control over the End Points to my 3rd Channel Servo.Time is money.More Detail about advanced features for this remote is needed..Range is good enough for my Liking and it Really is a More Modern Version of A Dx2E Spectrum Remote with upgrade steering Knob. And 3Channel button added a few lights. But it is a Good Buy for any ground Rc.The Reciever is Compact and secured with a Strong Plastic Shell.Good Buy.
