Runs great, easy to install

I got this when it was on sale 850 V2 for $70. It was a very good deal. I really appreciate this seller! I use this with a power hungry 7900X. The PSU itself is not super quiet. It's ok. My last PSU was able to completely turn off fan, this one is always running at like 500-700rpm or something. But at this price, and 850W (849 of which are available on the 12V rail!). Also, it has only 2 EPS connectors, but you can always buy your own later. At my purchase price, it is great value for money. Product came sealed, but in its brand packaging (no outer Amazon box, which is good for the environment, I guess) Update: 1 month later, I still have no problems. I notice the fan is kind of strange. It's not a smooth sound, it's kind of an warbling, like the blade or bearings are unbalanced. It was like this from the start, and has not changed. Also, the fan is supposed to be sucking from the top and blowing out the rear of the case, but if you put your hand over it you can feel it blowing out the top. Very peculiar. It's like the fan "sucks" literally/figuratively. Still, this was an amazing deal, if this lasts 5 years, it gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

After installation, went to turn on my PC and...nothing. Thinking it was an issue with the mobo because my PC has been down for a few months (to be fair), I removed and jumped pins 4 and 5 to find...well nothing, no power at all, this thing was dead right out of the box. So far the worst 130 (after tax) I've spent so far; awaiting a replacement that won't arrive until Friday the 18th (for some reason this is gonna take a whole extra day to get here than the first one? Whatever). Really disappointed, and I'm hoping I can turn this one star into at least 4 when the replacement arrives and works the way it's supposed to...otherwise it will stand and I'll just take a refund and buy an EVGA unit (like I probably should have in the first place). Update: got the new unit in two days ahead of the expected arrival date, this is a plus and I'm quite pleased with the speed at which it arrived the second time. Tested the unit before installation this time and the fan fired right up, another great sign. I've installed and had it running my system for about an hour now, so the jury is still out as to how long this will last (especially after reading other reviews that followed my initial assessment) but I will say that so far everything is running just fine. I suppose we'll see in a month whether or not that still holds true...for now I'm quite happy.

There are several issues with Cooler Master PSU. [1] The technically are "modular" but it is very difficult to buy additional cables on Amazon for my model. I'm guessing this has something to do with Cooler Master's distribution etc. I ended up buying one off of eBay not having any other choice.. and they shipped me the wrong one. [2] The PSU failed after 1 year of light usage, does not even turn on even with the 16/17 pin trick. [3] They claim to have a 10 year warranty, but I've tried to contact them and no response yet. We'll see if they get back to me, but as long as I don't have a PSU it's difficult to use my computer, so I'll probably end up buying a new one (different brand) rather than wait for their warranty process to go through (guessing it will take a while).

Amazing PSU, very quiet. have plenty of ports for all the HDDs and GPUs you need. I bought one of the open box ones and it came brand new although the packaging was not very good, the psu itself was in excellent condition.

Would not recommend this product would not even power on my pc after install and as a result will be sending it back! Steer clear from this product to many issues.
