To replace an old charger port in my iPhone 8 Plus and it works great

Microphone on new one did not work at all
I replaced my wife’s old charger port with this new one. The charger port works but the microphones on this replacement didn’t work now. It was fairly simple to replace just not happy that the replacement caused a new problem. Guess I’ll be changing it again!
