The Back Door of Midnight (Dark Secrets)

I have never read anything else by Elizabeth Chandler, so I had nothing to really go on in terms of the authors writing, but I was happily surprised when this book sucked me in! It is definitely a mystery as Anna, an adopted seventeen year old, drives to Wisteria where she is supposed to meet her Uncle Will as he wants to tell her something important about her real family. Once she arrives at the O'Neil house she finds her crazy Aunt Iris the only one in residence. It seems that her Uncle was murdered just a little while before Anna made her trip to see him. But was it a juvenile prank gone wrong by the local popular teens, or was it the work of someone far more sinister? Anna knows there is no way she can go home right then until she figures out what happened to her Uncle, what to do with Aunt Iris, what involvement does the cute boy next door have with her Uncle's murder, and what was it that her Uncle wanted to talk to her about. Throw in the fact that she's being having crazy visions and we have a winner! The Back Door of Midnight was such a good read with all the right elements, and I'll definitely be reading more works by this author!

This is probably about the third time I've read this book, I love it so much. I love the supernatural touch and the twists that always seem to accompany Elizabeth Chandler's work. It's a nice fast paced read that you don't have to wait too long to get the gist of the story. Which I love.

I love this book and I read it in one day. I just couldn't put it down. It is really well written and you just acnt help getting caught up in the suspense nust waiting to find what is coming. I have read the entire series and I wish Elizabeth Chandler would have co tinued to write more books for the series. I recommend it to any ody who loves suspense.

Loved this book!!!

Daughter bought this book and just LOVED the series, she hated that it ended. We bought it used, and she did not even care, it was a little banged up, but it is a book - what do you expect.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is REALLY good. It kinda makes me PO'ed that none of the books are related and they are all about different people, because every time I fall in love with the characters in the books, and then I reach the end and I get to the next book and the other people are GONE. But anyways all the characters in all the different stories are AMAZING.P.S. None of the stories are related so it doesn't really matter what order you read them in, and the second book is my fav.:)

This book is very easy to read. It was finished within the hour. What I had expected from the book. A book for leisure reading.

I have read the whole dark secrets series and they are all amazing Elizabeth Chandler is my favourite author and I love this book. This is my favourite book in the series I loved it.
