295x2 m43-c1 No display MDP to Hdmi 2.0 Adapter WTFFFF
Fast shipping. xfx295x2 plugged mdp to hdmi 2.0 adapter *Using a hdmi 1.4 cable* All I got was a black screen with no signal.... :(((((4k tv I'm using is a M43-c1 4k60hz rdy on hdmi port 5. I also plugged in another 4k30hz hdmi port 4 and the adapter did work and crimson and additional settings into CCC stated the monitor refresh rate was 75hz...... I just ordered a HDMI 2.0 18GBPS higher bandwidth cable to see if that will ultimately fix the problem. When I receive the cable I ordered yesterday and it still doesn't work I'm selling my 295x2 and going back to Nvidia I'm sick of wasting my time and money on adapters that should have been manufactured and came with the GPU in the first place. its been 6 months since I have owned this 295x2 still yet to see 4k60hz. The adapter itself is very sturdy and well made. lets hope this hdmi 2.0 cable will transfer the right amount of bandwidth that will allow me to finally game at 4k 60hz!!! Fingers crossed....

EDIT 4K@60Hz DOES WORK FOR MAC PRO WITH SOME TWEAKING.I followed this guy's instructions from review of a similar Club3D adapter. Sound doesn't work for me either, but 4K at 60Hz is definitely working very well.Benjamin B. Armour says:After many hours working on this I have found at least partial solution. I can get 4k at 60 Hz but the audio is garbled (it sounds kind of like static).1. First I downloaded (and purchased) SwitchResX, but you can download a trial that works for 10 days.2. In El Capitan there is a new security feature called "System Integrity Protection". Unfortunately this prevents SwitchResX from modifying the system files that contain resolution information. But you can temporarily disable "System Integrity Protection" to make changes. Once the resolution has been created and activated, you can turn SIP on again.3. Disabling SIP requires booting into the recovery partition. You boot in recovery mode by pressing CMD + R when starting up your Mac.4. Then open a Terminal window. Utilities->Terminal5. and type the command below:# csrutil disable6. To re-enable SIP once the changes have been made; boot back into the recovery partition and set state to enabled:# csrutil enable7. Now boot to El Capitan and open SwitchResX. Select the TV from the pane on the left. Then select "Custom Resolution". I entered 3840 x 2160 and made sure that the Scan Rate for Vertical was set to 60 hz. Scaling is also possible.8. Save the changes and reboot. After the reboot you will see the custom resolution added within SwitchResX under "Current Resolutions" for your TV.9. That should do it. Let me know if that helps you and if you also have sound issues through HDMI.Thanks

Just a miniDP to HDMI adapter NOT and HDMI 2.0 adapter.
This did not work for me at all. I have tried it on my Alienware 17 r2 (2015 model) and my work Lenovo T450, both should support 4k 60hz. I have this hooked to a Seiki 42 in 4k SE42UGT monitor and have spent the better part of the day trying to get 60hz and it doesn't work on either system. I have tried 4 different HDMI cables (all HDMI 2.0), updated both the intel and nvida display drivers and I still cant add the 3849x2140 @ 60hz. I even tried it on my 290x with miniDP to DP adapter but still no luck. I personally believe this is just a miniDP to HDMI adapater NOT a miniDP to HDMI 2.0 adapter. Wait until the Club3d versions are back in stock.

4K 60Hz CONFIRMED WORKING WITH MAC PRO, SAMSUNG 2015 SUHD TV UN55JS900 (no sound issue).

Enjoy !*one word of caution for mac pro people though, rumor is that apple might be coming out with a new mac pro in june 2016 though

Rarely worked (just the first time) and made my Mac ...
Rarely worked (just the first time) and made my Mac Pro freak out to the point I had to remove it and restart several times to get system running again. I've since upgraded my GPU and no longer am using/needing this

Amazing adapter, all 30Hz problems solved
Excellent adapter, gives me 8 bit 3840x2160@60Hz with 4:4:4 chrome subsampling on an Australian model Soniq 55" UHD TV using the HDMI 2.0 socket(Which isn't labelled on the tv, i had to open it up to find out if it even supported HDMI 2.0, only HDMI 4 supports it) and 2x AMD 7970 in Crossfire, i believe it is only an 8 bit tv so others may get 10 bit if their tv supports it.Also adapter is built solidly and i have had no problems with the build quality.
