Review: Cardio push - Amy's Kickboxing workout is a challenge. So,if you are advanced, this workout is for you. 60min of pure moving! It takes a little while to get all the steps. But, once you have them down there is no turning back! The tape is 90min so you have a warm up, cool down and of course a AB section. Once again, Amy does a great job. Very fun! Review: I'm not a fan, but I could see someone out there liking it... - This was my first Amy Bento DVD and I'm not a fan of it. I could never really get into the video because the music did not go with the combinations. Amy is sloppy with her moves and coming from a background in karate I was really disappointed. If you could get over the poor form, bad cues, and over crowded set then you can get a decent workout from the video. Maybe it's just me and not liking her style, but I was not a fan. It is definately more of an advanced video, and if you can get over all the flaws you can get a good workout. If you want a decent video look at Cathie Friedrich, Katrina Barillova, or even some of the Firm videos. Billy Blanks is also decent and has somewhat of a different style than the others.

Awesome workout!
This is an advanced level workout but you can follow the modifier for a less intense version. The music is great and while Amy is not the best at cuing, you will be fine once you learn the moves and do the workout a few times. There are 7 different premixes and a very helpful detailed description of each premix.

Cueing is terrible and routines are complex in other words terrible.
Luckily I did not buy this DVD however my friend did and not only were we disappointed but we were also really confused. I have been a certified aerobics instructor teaching kickboxing for 3 years now. Never in my history of aerobics have I ever seen anyone do a jump kick to the side. This is not only dangerous but uncomfortable and not even correct!!!! Will you sweat, sure, only because you are so frustrated from the weird choreography which she makes no attempt to breakdown and the fact that many of her combinations do not have good flow to them. Please if you want a quality workout and something worth your money check out Cathe Freidrich. On her website you can actually preview about 10 minutes worth of many of her workouts, I think she has over 60 workout DVDs. I realize this review may seem out of place among the 5 stars but I have started to compare all other home workouts to Cathe Friedrich and no one is able to even touch the superior products and workouts that Cathe creates. Also I had to give her 1 star but if they had an option for no stars then that is what I would have chosen because frankly its not even worth 1 star. My friend did this workout once and has not done it agian because she dislikes it so much, it was a waste of her money.

Amy, What are you Doing!
I do like this DVD and feel that it provides some great workouts! However, this is not for beginners and Amy makes technique changes pretty quickly. Its upbeat, fast-past, and will give you a terrific workout...if you can keep up! I think it would be great if all DVDs such as this had small segments that could be viewed prior to purchase. And, to be very superficial, they could have gotten some better people to stand in behind her.

This ain't for beginners!!! ;-)
This is such a fantastic dvd, but only if you are advanced and fit. It's non stop and you'll sweat hard and work hard. You'll have to concentrate too as there is no slowing down to demonstrate a move. The choreography comes thick and fast too so you should be pretty coordinated or you'll get frustrated and quit. I've done this two times already and found it quite challenging, but forced myself to make it through and thankfully did actually make it through. I'm not too hard on myself if I mess up any of the routine, but pick it back up where I can and already I found the second time easier. The routine ends with ab-sculpting which is a nice and more relaxing way to finish off. She cues well and is encouraging which is helpful and this is a dvd I'm setting aside for a once a week job. It's fairly tough so I'm going to use it as my once a week big push. If you are fit, I think you'll like this a lot like I do.

Great workout!
I really enjoy this workout. It is a high energy, high endurance workout. It is also high impact but has modifications for low impact which I found easy to follow. The drills can be somewhat complex with little to no instruction so you will probably need to do them several times to be able to follow them. She doesn't cue as well as some others, but I thought the workout was good enough to make up for that. The pre-mixes are great - lots of variety and also good if you don't have time to do the entire workout. Unfortunately, you do not have the ability to design your own workout by selecting various chapters. Also, on my copy the sound is missing from the stretching section... but this is a minor flaw with the DVD itself. Overall a great workout.

I love this workout!
This workout is so much fun! It's way better than Turbo Jam and Taebo in my opinion. I love the combinations, the music, and the overall flow of the workout. This is definitely a keeper! I do this one on a weekly basis, and I always burn mucho calories. P.S. The level of difficulty is high and she does not cue very well. There is a modifyer for beginners.
