I am a teacher in an elementary school and also a huge Lego fan... so naturally this case was a perfect fit for me. I have a 15" Macbook Pro and a 13" Macbook Air and have been looking for a case to both protect my computer but also show a bit of my personality. Then I stumbled on the Brik Book through Kickstarter.I automatically signed up to buy the 13" version for my Air and scooped up a Design Kit to go with it (Batman). After receiving the Brik Book I was impressed with the packaging. It was clean, neat and very intuitive. I read the directions and decided to put the briks on before I put the cover on my MacBook. This was the longest task and also the most fun. I was also the most nervous about this aspect because I have purchased other 3rd party Lego compatible creations and none have had a snug brik fit. This has a very snug fit and I have yet to lose a lego off the case even through caring it back and forth to school in my bag.After I placed the individual Briks on the case I then connected the case to my Macbook. This was the hardest task because it is a very snug fit. I am not at all worried about the case falling off, I am more worried about how I am going to get it off if I need to.I brought the case to my school and students took notice immediately by running over and shouting how cool it was. (It was a bit of a distraction at first) It also let me connect with a lot of my students by showing similar interests and a point we can relate through our love of Legos.After this success I also wanted one for my 15" Pro. I ordered a second one and and a bunch of individual Briks. I also did a Google search for "pixel art" to find designs that I could make out of Briks. I found a lot of designs that I will keep switching out. Multiple teachers at my building also purchased a Brik Book after seeing mine and wanting to express their personality and connect with kids.If I had a 3rd MacBook I would buy a 3rd Brik Book Case the moment I walked out of the Apple Store.0 Regrets about the purchase.

It fits snug and now that I know the trick for taking it off, I like that snugness even more. I love customizing my stuff and this makes it far easier. I love the 100pk of briks and I've always wanted an easy way to get into doing mosaics.

I bought this BrikBook when it was on kickstarter and let me tell you it was worth the wait. There are limitless things you can create that will have people laughing and commenting and it just makes your laptop look cool. The price is good and the good thing is you dont have to buy anything else to make a new design once you have the legos. I'll be having fun with this for years. As a huge Lego fan growing up (and to some degree as an adult), this is exactly what I've been waiting for...The compatibility with official Lego bricks is superb - I'm able to build anything using my own Lego pieces. A MUST FOR ANY LEGO FAN

What an amazing idea. I saw one of these the other day at the campus coffee shop and the guy had built an 8-bit version on Mario on it. Lego AND Mario? Sums up my childhood, had to buy one! Thanks!

Does what it is supposed to do - a jolly cover allowing for lego to be added in patterns. No bricks included, so you'll need to use your own.

Just bought this and happy witb the quality of the case but slightly confused and annoyed that I didn't get the free white apple bricks like the description advertised
