I bought two units and they are perfect in my home. They not only look great, they are a great size and bring elegance to my home.

This is furniture you can easily move or transport, but it is also good- looking. Highly recommend.

The shelf is fine. However, it’s not the most sturdy, and definitely not worth over $80. The shelves were surprisingly much more narrow/smaller than anticipated, and it seems somewhat carelessly made. Some of the wood pieces were also not lined up correctly, so the side pieces are slightly crooked. There were also staple holes in random places, but these were mostly on the bottom of the shelves. Item is a ‘natural wood’ color but is ‘finished’ with some type of clear varnish, so the wood feels smooth and is protected.The biggest issue I have is how YELLOW it looks. I have other natural wood colored furniture, and it’s more of a light tan color. This item has a very very yellow tinge to it, so it probably won’t match other natural wood furniture. The photos don’t capture how yellow it looks in person.Overall, it is a nice, semi-sturdy, SMALL, folding bookcase that is definitely NOT worth the upwards of $80 price tag. The wood is varnished and protected, but the ‘natural wood’ color appears very yellow. We have the same type of shelf from Costco, that is much more durable and well-made. The Costco version is also a nicer natural wood color.

I have three of these great sturdy bookcases. One was folded and placed inside an armoire, opened out and the armoire is now a pantry.

I don't know how much these will hold (weight-wise) or how long they will last, but the concept and ease of setting them up is simply brilliant. I needed some additional storage upstairs and everything I looked at weighed about a gazillion pounds and required assembly. Not going there... These aren't perfect for my purposes, but they're darned good. And the light weight and lack of assembly requirement are just wonderful. If they look like they will suit your needs, give them a try.

Nice looking unit. Simply folds out and down into a bookshelf. Once set up, it was so unstable that it literally wobbled left/right almost 3 inches. Guess I should have known better, since there really isn't anything holding it together on the sides. Definitely needs to be secured to the wall or some cross braces added. Thankfully, the return process was exceptionally simple and refund received within a day or two.

I have put 2 together with the tops full of orchids. I'm rearranging things to put grow lights above the first shelf. The are perfect for my small apartment

Not worth the money, not sturdy.

I love that it folds out and it is a real book shelf made of sturdy wood, not chipboard. Great find!
