A decent mouse, but Perixx makes a better one
I think I may have already reviewed this mouse with a 5 star rating. If I did, apologies for the double-rating, but I feel I should revise my initial 100% impressed view.My reason now for doing so is that there's a slightly more expensive version from the same manufacturer. I'd used that one for a year or so before it started to miss clicks. I consider a year of intensive daily use to be decent product life for a 20 quid mouse, so was happy to buy another Perixx. I saved a fiver on this one, and it was a false economy. This one is as comfortable as its big brother, but its tracking is nowhere near as accurate. It's also a little too light, which makes one-pixel nudges difficult.Perixx's £19.99 mouse is far more accurate and usable. As I'm recommending an alternative from the same manufacturer, I feel justified in suggesting a different product. My advice, search Amazon and spend the extra fiver on the Perixx PERIMICE-718 Left Handed Mouse, Ergonomic Design, Large, Wireless, 5 Buttons, 800/1200/1600 DPI.I've just ordered another one and know I won't be disappointed.

Fit's like a Glove
Needed a new wireless moue after my 16 year old mouse also started to have Electronic Communication Dementia.I was very pleased that it fits into my hand so comfortably. The left right buttons are directly under your fore and index fingers, so just click without having to position them. Your thumb sits nicely into the curved grove and the curved rear sits comfortably into your palm, 'it fits like a glove'.Although I am righthanded I always use the wireless keyboard on my lap with my right hand as I sit on the sofa and the mouse in my left. Also the mouse mat is not needed as the mouse works perfectly on the cushion. The mouse takes 2 triple A batteries, not supplied, and saves battery power by sleeping when not in use, just move and it wakes up. A Bluetooth USB is supplied and it connects to the mouse immediately. There's a DPi button above the thumb so you can change the speed of the mouse icon moving across the screen. A red light below your thumb flashes to indicate the speed has been changed.I'm really pleased and happy with the ease and comfort this mouse has, 10 out of 10.

A brilliant Mouse (left handed version)
As a frequent computer user and kack-hander...I have to wonder how I managed without this mouse for so long?!Plug and play right out of the box, it just works beautifully.Ergonomically speaking, it's nothing short of amazing. Very comfortable and natural, easy to use (it takes a bit of getting used to), well thought out and just feels like it's molded for my hand.Because I've had shoulder surgery, the fact that I now don't have to rotate inward to use a conventional mouse means long sessions at the PC should feel easier, with less fatigue and aches (I'll update my review as time goes on in that regard). The DPI button is an especially nice touch and is really useful (2 of 3 works best for general use), as are the forward/backward page browser buttons.A very impressive mouse, worth the couple of extra quid for the wireless version.

Not fit for purpose, buy a properly designed one.
So, bought this to use at home due to RSI in right arm and I use an ambidextrous Penguin mouse at work with my left hand (I'm also slightly ambidextrous). Received same day (thanks Amazon) and set it up - very easy, plug and play. Initial thoughts, mouse was poor on shiny computer desk, which all other modern mice have no problems with. Cursor jumpy and erratic. Tried on rougher surface, worked ok. On to it's other purpose as an ergonomic left hand mouse. The scroll wheel and left/right "clickers" were positively uncomfortable to reach (I have short fat hands) so as you reach, the mouse slides away. This means gripping tighter to try and click, leading to the next problem, thumb then inadvertently hits the poorly placed back/forward buttons. The whole experience was miserable. Returned for refund immediately. Will get my work to buy me another Penguin mouse for home use, or buy it myself, as it is a joy to use, despite unconventional look, it actually works.

Impressed
Having damaged my right wrist I needed to be able to work while my wrist was healing so had to convert to left handed. Not that bad for me as I was born left handed (so I'm medically advised) but was changed as soon as I started to learn to write - bad luck to have left handers around!! - Still the + is I am now more ambidextrous than most right handers which can be useful. This was a very comfortable easy to use wired mouse that did what was required of it so much so that I now have the wireless right handed version and A Perixx ergonomic keyboard.
