I used this for the last 4-5 years of a black lab golden mix and it helped her to stay healthy to the ripe age of 16 1/2 before I had to put her down due to hip issues. That age is pretty unheard of for her breed. It helped her to have a great healthy coat and skin but also and iron gut to where she never had any issues in that regard. Due to how well that went after waiting about 8 months after she passed away I got a full bred Golden Retriever and have fed this to him from day one. It's a bit harder to gauge a puppy on something like this but he has zero issues and is extremely healthy. For those on a tight budget I would definitely recommend giving this a try for an older dog. Though if you can afford it doesn't hurt to sprinkle a tablespoon of this on their food each day. Just my 2 cents!

I was so happy to find a plant-based topper for my dogs that can give them extra nutrients that they may not get with their regular food. We feed our pups homemade food so it can be a challenge to make sure they get everything they need and this helps with that. I have 2 dogs and one of them loves this stuff and the other one wants it mixed with something else and then she's happy. It does have an alfalfa, grassy earthy smell which I would expect from the ingredients but it doesn't smell bad and smells fresh when I open the seal.I can't say much about whether I have seen a change in my dogs because of this as my dogs are already pretty healthy. It gives me peace of mind being able to add this to their regular routine though and I am very picky about what I feed them because I have had others dogs before who had issues with meats and dairy (long story) so I tend to avoid it when looking for stuff to feed my dogs and to find something like this that is plant-based was so awesome.

I used Ruff Greens for several years, but being retired on limited income, I had a hard time affording it for my four dogs. Then I came across this and after reading the reviews, I decided to try it. My little fur babies took to it right away. I have a cereal container that I have their food in and after I refill it, I shake on a generous amount and then close the lid and shake it up to coat all the kibbles. That makes it easy to refill their dish. They are small breeds, so this works great. I ran out a while ago and hurried to re-order, but they had to go several days without it. I noticed they didn't eat as much when it was absent as when it was on! They are thriving while using this and no more bad doggy breath! It's great to know that they are getting the nutrition that they deserve, and their great health is evidence of that. I look forward to having them with us for many more years.

definitely gives a healthy boost to my dogs meals and makes me very happy knowing the ingredients are vegan and natural :) only thing i’d improve is - i wish it was organic!

Zero, if I could. This made both of my dogs sick. It gave Lexi diarrhea so bad that it cost me $300 in ruined rugs and a $178 vet bill. Daisy wasn't as affected. The greens just made her throw up. I'm very thankful that my house is all hardwood with a few runners and door rugs (all ruined) and 2 very expensive area rugs (not touched, only by the grace of God). It also cost me a couple of nights' sleep. I'm extremely disappointed and saddened by the cost to myself and my poor sick dogs. BTW...it did not hit both dogs at the same time. I quit giving to Daisy because of the vomiting, but continued with Lexi because, at first, no bad side effects. Daisy's vomiting stopped within 2 days.Then a few days later, Lexi started with the diarrhea. I took her off and the effects lingered for 3 more days until the vet visit and meds.

This is a very fine green powder which is perfect for our needs. We used to use a more granular product with similar ingredients and it was OK but we believe this is better for our aging border collie. We believe the powder form is more easily digested and absorbed by her and she seems to like it a lot. And, a container of the same size goes much, much further if you measure it out with care.

I would NEVER have expected my 2 year old, stubborn, finicky eater of a Sheba Inu girl (my baby) to eat this. This product has COMPLETELY changed our frustrating meal experiences to happy, happy, joy, joy...she LOVES it. No kidding! Her 12 year old brother, a chubby, terrier mix LOVES it too. He has had horrible nasty, gag me dogs farts after his meals. He has been to the vet. We have changed his food multiple times...nothing has helped, UNTIL now. They have just been on this product about a WEEK and already there is a DIFFERENCE in him too. GAS has clearly dissipated.
