Herman's Letter

Herman's letter is an absolutely adorable book about jealously and friendship and how the two friends react to the distance and separation. The lift the flap letters make the reading that much more realistic and fun for the kids.

This book is a joy of a book. Full of humour and extremely loveable characters. The illustrations are both clever and friendly and the text is such a pleasure to read. My four year old boy love opening the letters and we even 'read' them together. I will look forward to more books from this talented writer/illustrator.

Herman's Letter is a really lovely book. I have to admit that I read it as soon as it came through the post, I couldn't wait for my children to come home from school!The illustration is just beautiful as with all of Tom Percival's books, but it's also very different style from is other books. The story is a little sad, but with a really happy ending. Our family has just moved to London from Luxembourg so it was particularly fitting for my children. My youngest son asked if I could send a copy to his friend he had left behind. I always like to read my children books that have meanings and it's especially nice when they understand them.

My kids love this book! Always a favourite at bedtime

Sweet book about a bear missing his friend once his friend moves away, and the lengths the bear goes to deliver a letter. My five-year-old loved it.
