Plastic Forceps set of 10

Overall, they are a good value, but not as good as similar forceps that came with a microscope kit from Edmund:1. The tips are a bit too long and pointed, but I found you can "customize" them by trimming with an Exacto knife and a little sandpaper.2. The alignment tabs should be a bit longer, so they engage all the time. Thicker objects will have a tendency to twist out of grip because the tabs aren't engaged.

I needed tweezers or something like them to dissect owl pellets for my fourth grade science class and these did the job nicely at a very reasonable price. I don't have one in front of me to measure right now but I remember them being a bit larger than expected. I was expecting something like eyebrow tweezers and these were closer to 6" in length.

Safe for kids, but hard to maneuver and work with really picking at objects (we used for owl pellets).
