It’s very nice to use…

I have had the product for 1 year working perfectly & it has just stopped working. I am looking to resolve this issue. Inbtje message centre it is not letting me open a dispute to send a message to see about the 7 year warranty for this product.

Love this light, bought as replacement for a cheaper light that was losing duration due to non replaceable battery. The light is VERY bright, just what I needed for the poorly lit areas where I have to secure my loads (I’m a trucker). The headband keeps the light securely in place on my bump cap.The battery is rechargeable in place using the supplied cable but I just use the 18650 charger I already own. I always use full brightness for a couple of hours a day and have found I only need to recharge it once a week.The switch is very easy to use while wearing the light.The only problem with mine is that the ring to adjust from wide angle to spot is unbelievably stiff until it starts moving, then it moves easily. Once left for a few minutes an attempt to change beam angle is again initially extremely stiff.All in all a great work light

Just like another reviewer, when I received it, I couldn't turn the focus ring and thought the item was faulty; and I'm a "strapping lad" and quite capable of putting in enough force to break most things! The issue lies with tiny silicon pads at the base of the zoom ring and these stick to the main unit. I was able to eventually resolve it by running a finger nail between the silver zoom ring and black main body, and break the seal. This looses the review a point as it's a quality control issue that could be overcome by shipping them zoomed in, so the pads don't touch the base.Otherwise I'm very impressed with the size, weight, power combination and they would have recovered another star if the price had been nearer the ever advancing competition.

This is a very bright light on full power - but, this tails off to medium after 5 minutes. At first I thought this was a fault but after contacting Ledlenser technical support, you have to set the torch to mode 3 (hold the on switch on for 16 seconds and wait for 3 flashes). NB I noticed other posts have mentioned this as problem - the instructions could be clearer. At first, I didn't think you could focus the lens - the focus bezel was jammed so tight I thought I might break it - I sent it back for this reason but the replacement was only slightly better. Again, other posts mention the same problem - Ledlenser agree there is a problem here - you can either send it back or they suggested try a little WD40 !!!!! Out of curiosity, I checked Ledlenser's website for replacement batteries as a back up - there are two similar type batteries listed for the H8R/P7R but neither is an exact match of the battery supplied. The technical department confirmed either battery is suitable but you're better off with the 3000mHa version as this lasts longer. Having said all this, I also own a P7R and the H8R and they are great lights - Ledlenser needs to fix the bezel issue and explain mode dimming better in their poor "quick user guide".

The battery life is really good and it’s great that it has three power/strength settings. I use the weakest one for reading in bed. After using it daily for weeks I decided I better charge it even though there didn’t seem to be any need.I had a head light by the same brand and it was great but a bit heavy on batteries which had to be replaced regularly. By buying this slightly more expensive, rechargeable version, the light will pay for itself within the year in the form of batteries I won’t have to buy.I use it for: getting in the coal on cold winter nights, looking for things in the loft, walking the dog at night, running at night, an occasional night hike, as a foreground illuminator for night photos, and reading in bed. It’s one of those things I’ve come to think of as essential.Using my previous light resulted in my, on a few occasions, finding money on the road at night when walking the dog.If you’re like me then I think you need this product. It will enhance your life :).
