LG 27 inch 4K UHD IPS LED HDR Monitor with Radeon Freesync Technology and HDR 10, Silver - 27UL550-W

I was mainly looking to upgrade from my old Samsung 1080p monitor to UHD 2016p - this monitor is one of the best products i found after a thorough research - in terms of price and what you get in return. i'm mainly looking for a reliable UHD for office use - no gaming, and i didn't need all the USB and other connectivity / hub features .. so this is the one. works very smooth, easy to set up out of the box and great resolution and colors (after properly configuring) - takes some time to get used to given how "bright and colorful" it is compared to my previous monitor.if you want to get the best UHD mode with 60Hz *and* HDR, make sure you check your PC/laptop as it needs to either support DisplayPort connectivity or Thunderbolt to DisplayPort and *buy the required cables* .. i was lucky i found this advice during my research, so i managed to order the extra TB-DP cable (many good options here on Amazon) along with my monitor order - and it was the only way to get the full UHD/60Hz/HDR mode to work. HDMI cable/mode will only give UHD at 30Hz. hope this helps!

Love the monitor. It is very good for gaming ,movies and pc.For pc its not worth it for gaming. But amazing as a secondary monitor.Console it is amazing. Works perfectly with my ps4 pro and ps5.You get the 4k and 60Hz.HDR for gaming is pretty good but not the best.

Lo uso principalmente para trabajo, programas de edición de imagen y video y se ve realmente bien. Los colores se ven intensos y brillantes. Ocasionalmente le conecto un Apple TV 4K de primera generación (2017) y se ve excelente para películas y videos. No lo he utilizado para juegos, pero supongo que la imagen debe ser bastante buena, aunque que la frecuencia es de máximo 60Hz.

-EDIT- About 6 months in, and this is still a fabulous monitor, I couldn't be happier. It does everything well that I wanted it to do, and then some. Highly recommended.I like to read ebooks on my PC, so there are a few things that are important to me. 1) Picture quality. This monitor has a GREAT picture. 2) The monitor actually works. I had to send an AOC monitor back for refund prior to this one due to a permanent red line down the middle of the screen. So far so good with this one. 3) A "reader mode" to reduce blue light. Check. 4) High resolution. Check. 5) IPS display. Check. 6) I read comics too, so I need the monitor to rotate to "portrait" configuration. Check. 6) Height adjustable so I can put it on my monitor stand, and stand up when I want to. Check.All in all I'm very happy so far, assuming it doesn't fail like the AOC I just sent back. One odd design decision, in my opinion, is the base. It's a really wide arc of plastic, almost as wide as the monitor itself. It's not a problem, so I'm not taking a star off, but I would have preferred a more utilitarian, traditional base. The base actually sticks off the edge of my monitor stand a little.One added bonus is that you can turn off the stupid power LED on this one! Hurray! Man I got tired of my old monitor blinking at me all night.The OSD is nice, and the multiple "split screen" modes are something I've wanted for a long time.Oddly, the audio actually sounds better than the integrated sound from my motherboard. It's more clear, louder, etc.Overall, A+ so far. I really can't say enough about the picture quality. Fan-tastic.
