Not what I expected for a high priced item. I’m not ok with it being rusted.

These fit well into my hand. They are sharp and cut well. But.... they continually lock closed. The latch that closes them and allows for intermediate cutting constantly moves into the lock position. Fortunately it finally wore out and I removed it and they don’t do that anymore. But.... now I can’t lock them closed. Bad trade off. Bad design. Also, they have stuck when simply cutting since the outset. I have lubricated the mechanism. I have even thoroughly cleaned off the blades over and over to no avail. Is definitely I paid $50 for them, I kept using them. But I would not purchase them again. This is after us isn’t them 3 years. Not 3 months. Semi satisfied.

i was looking for a really good pair of secateurs for my gardens and small trees/shrubs. unfortunately, these are not it. problem 1: the spring sticks. even after the husband worked on it, about 50% of the time, i had to force it open after clipping. that gets really annoying when you're pruning a bunch of stuff. problem 2: they are too big for my hands. i wear a small-medium ladies' glove and they are large enough to be quite uncomfortable especially the longer i use them. after 15-20 minutes, my hand is tired and i have to stop working. these were very expensive and i expected much better.
