Perfect first VR
This is what I was looking out for. Wonderful VR Experience without being tethered to PC. More than decent picture and audio quality. Fully immersive experience. Not played many games yet. Surreal experience of watching Netflix on a giant 12 feet screen in a mountain top lodge. You can meet friends virtually, set up meetings, share presentations, attend live concerts and sports events. Easy to cast on compatible device. Can watch 3 d movies, access your desktop/ pc virtually, controllers are precise. You can switch to hand controls also. Works very well. Go to virtually any place on earth, have a tour of museums, underwater swimming with sharks, go to international space station, go for a space walk, fly from mountain tops, ski, sit back and enjoy music. There is literally no limit to what you can do. Games is just an additional thing.Off course, there are much better pc based VR devises out there, but then you need a gaming pc for that and entire thing comes to around 10k Aed. At around 1500, this is best you can get in terms of VR experience. Value for money. This is my first VR headset and I am quite happy with what I got. Definitely recommended to start with. VR is evolving and it will be better and better with time.Downside: Facebook login required, some might find that annoying.

Great headset if your IPD is one of the three options available.
I have an IPD of 70 but thor max IPD setting is 68. In my experience it's definitely usable but I'm definitely missing out as well. It's a bit blurry specially at the edges. Games work well enough but when using apps like bigscreen or virtual desktop, the extreme ends of the screen are almost out of your feild of view and out of your peripheral vision and that is VERY annoying. if there were two more IPD options it would've definetly been the perfect headset because they have done literally every other thing correctly The tracking, display, comfort and everything else is spot on but the experience is completely diminished because of not getting the optimum viewing experience. I'll still be sticking to the quest because it's cheapest headset you can get out there but IMO if you have the budget for it you should definitely go for something that gives higher IPD options like the Valve Index or HTC Vive.

Great Product!
Oculus Quest 2 is a great product for the price and compared to other VR headsets on the market.Personally I wanted to play games on my PC via Steam VR and it works absolutely perfect.Note: You will have to have a GOOD config PC to enjoy every bit of the game.If you are keen playing on PC, the 64GB Quest 2 does the job. (saves you a 100 USD)Its been just a day since i have been playing with this and the only drawback i feel is the head strap. Gave me a headache after an hours use.I ordered the Oculus Head strap and it was WAY more comfortable.Bottom line, get the 64GB quest 2 along with the Oculus head strap for comfortable and peaceful gaming.

Great product, great delivery.
The product is great, especially for the price. Provides people with a low budget and no gaming pc with a proper VR experience. The strap is bad and has to be replaced but that's expected with such a price tag, and there are many alternatives in the market. The delivery service from amazon was also perfect as it always is.

Not made with all face shapes in mind.
If you have a wider cheekbone than average, then good luck trying to fit this Headset on your face. It seems like what ever position you wear it, the light always leaks through the nose area, like I can still see the real world if I just look down, and that pulls me out of the experience.Though the experience I got from the headset itself is the best I've had, and this is coming from a guy who tried the Vive standard headset, the Vive Pro, the Oculus Quest 1, and the Rift S. The Quest 1 had the same issue by the way which is why I just gave it to my Niece and went back to using the Rift S. I bought this Quest 2 because I hoped that they might have noticed the design error and fixed it, but apparently it still persists.Although I purchased an alternative third party facial cover that includes a nose light leak blocker to mitigate this. I made that purchase because of how much I liked my experience with the Quest 2.TL;DR: Not good for wide faces, you will have to resort to using third party facial cover. The headset itself is amazing though, so if you have an average face shape, go for it.

Unable to use duto Facebook shenanigans
Prospective purchasers need to be very sure they want to risk owning an Oculus Quest 2.You are required to have a working facebook account to use the device, despite having a FB account in long good standing, I had not used it for some years, and it had been locked. I am unable to activate the headset at all. Facebook customer service is non-existant, if they decide to lock your account, you have no resource to resolve the issue, their decision is final.Facebook's terms and conditions require that you use your real name to make an account, and ID details, this means that you cannot simply create a new facebook account without the risk of loosing access to not only the device, but any software purchased for it.There a great number of people in a similar situation posting on popular forums such as reddit, and that number is increasing at an alarming rate, either having facebook accounts locked and loosing access to large game libraries and the headset, or simply not being able to get the headset working in the fist place. This may also disable existing Quest 1, Rift and CV headsets once the existing Oculus account is irreversibly linked with a facebook account. If you can live with having a £300+ piece of hardware and associated software being arbitrarily rendered useless with no recourse, maybe the quest 2 is for you, otherwise look for a HMD from another manufacturer without such opaque and destructive practices.

Facebook only!
Even though Oculus is allowed to run until 2023 if you already have an account, this particular device, the Quest 2, doesn't allow Oculus accounts, YOU HAVE to link to a Facebook account. I'd understand if it was a Google account or an Apple account, companies that provide services to everyday life, but Facebook provides nothing to everyday life, so a lot of people have no need or want to create an account. But if you buy this, you have to!I'm still debating if I should sign up to one of the worst websites on the internet just to use this VR headset.

Pay and Facebook may decide you can use it.
I don't use Facebook. I have an Oculus account so I thought I would be OK for 2 years but it needs Facebook for quest 2 now. So I go through the sign up process to be told my account has been disabled due to breaking community guidelines. So I jump through hoops providing information but cannot fix it. I am just left banned from facebook.Sure its a good headset as far as I got with the setup at least the image quality was great. Just a shame I am not able to use it as Facebook automatically blocked all my attempts to get my account setup. I have had to return it as I am simply not able to use it. Very dissapointed.

The future of gaming
This arrived on the 13th to my surprise, I thought I'd get it in November due to ordering late but Amazon were on point.I thought this headset was going to be good, it's my first VR experience. I wasn't prepared to be picking my jaw up off of the floor at how immersive and realistic it would feel. The graphics are incredible and pictures on boxes and online do it zero justice until seen for yourself. The guardian setting is unbelievable and silky smooth, cameras let you see your real surroundings if you go through the safety barrier. This can be set for standing or sitting, both settings work very well. It requires 6.5ft x 6.5ft to get the best play are but we play around 5ft x 5ft and its not been a problem once. Just make sure to clear the area and make sure pets won't be walking around you.Controllers are incredible, took me a while to get used to them as I'm used to xbox One controllers but they fit my hands very well.I would recommend playing for just 10-20 minutes on your first try just to let your brain get used to it, it's quite the roller coaster of visuals....not that you're going to listen to me though, you're going to play it until the battery dies aren't you...just take it easy.My kids love it, the strap although fiddly fits the whole family. The battery can go fairly quick on high end games, there are extras for longer battery life but that's an added expense you might not want to pay for. You can charge and play at the same time whilst seated but its a short cable, they do sell a 5m cable but it's very expensive.I recommend the following games based on my own experience;Richie's Plank Experience (terrifying for all)Real Fishing Vr (one of my all time faves)Space Pirate TrainerBeat SaberEcho Vr (free)CreedThrill of the Fight (the best boxing sim imo)YouTube Vr (free)Big screen cinema (free but charge for films)Oculus TV (free)First steps (free introduction to vr)Before you go off buying cases to store it all in know this, the packaging is very good, when you take the outer sleeve off there is a very nice albeit cardboard box with a hinge style lid. This can be used to store your Headset and controllers at home, I wouldn't recommend it for taking to your mates house in a bag but for home storage it's perfect and saves you buying a case which is yet another addition you might not want to fork out for unless you plan on taking it out with you.Update: My Oculus wouldn't find my LG smart TV so I couldn't cast gameplay to it. If you have the same issue you can do one of the following, either connect via a chromecast or using an Amazon Fire stick download the Airscreen app and the Oculus will pick that up (which is the option I used).I cannot recommend this product enough, we're all loving it so far.

Facebook horrorshow
Great product. Shame about undermining democracy and the tax avoidance. So nearly perfect, but having kicked Facebook and its at best murky treatment of my personal data into touch - I now find myself having to sign up again... To ' improve services.' flimsy. As their vp points out, lots of company's make you do it. True. But few make you sign up to a toxic social platform to do it.Shame.. I'll have to save up for one that doesn't sell my data.
