It's OK, but not for CF cards
I really don't like this product very much, but it's what I could afford at the time and it fits my computer case. I have an older case with only two front USB ports on it, and I have a newer motherboard with USB 3.0 capability.The CF slot and the SD slot cannot be used at the same time. If you try to use both, neither will work. Additionally, if you have an older DSLR that uses CF cards, you probably would be better off just buying an extrernal CF-to-USB reader. The CF slot has so much slop in it that you're bound to bend the pins. After bending and un-bending some of the center pins several times, they will either break, or pull out so far that you can't put them back properly. The latter is what happened to me, so I've defaulted to the old method of powering on my old DSLR and plugging it into a USB port again. It's a real shame, because when I could use this thing it was a lot faster than plugging my camera into a USB port.The headphone jack is very buzzy and beepy, but I don't know if that's due to lack of shielding on this unit or noisy audio from my motherboard. I haven't tried the mic input. I haven't tried the XD, TF, M2, or MD slots. Mostly I got this for extra USB ports, and to read CF and SD cards. I've got two out of three, so I give it three out of five.

Had to alter to fit in an older case, ...
Had to alter to fit in an older case, it's mounting is plastic and a little flimsy and the screws just self thread into the plastic. It works!

Even better than expected!
I have an old (but really nice) PC case which didn't have any front panel ports. Now I have all the front ports I could ever want or need. Very please with the quality, ease of installation and features.
