This stuff is very similar. There are lubricants for metal-on-metal machines, plastic-on-plastic, etc. When you need to lubricate moving parts that have both metal AND plastic composites, this is the sort of lubricant that you need. The price is very fair, the bottle is equipped with a very robust needle and cap, and is small enough to bring with you to the range or to a photo shoot. I personally use this sort of oil to keep lenses working smoothly and for applications where a non-toxic oil is preferred over lithium or petroleum grease.
