Wow, I’m pleased. The quality of the whole meter solid and pro. After a short playing around , I do agree to previous buyers, it is just is accurate as Fluke. The recording function is simple, (a bit faster than Fluke) and measurement recalls are easy. The display is bright, high contrast, and the backlight help for darker place to work. The overall design is well thought out, all the functions and sub menus are displayed on the cover of the meter. Definitely ready for a day-to-day ( torture. ). I own several meters, Fluke, Agilent, Sanwa, And this one just be come my main tool for my work. I did not have time yet for a detailed test, however, what I have done so far, it proves that my purchase is worth every penny. I repair 3 phase 300-600 amp WFD’s for well pump. I my opinion, Anyone who is looking for a well designed accurate Multimeter , - look no further. Thank you for reading my review.

This is a seriously nice DMM. Accurate, feature-rich, and STURDY.

Great Meter, and terrific vendor too
Terrific meter, test better than the Fluke 87V. This Hioki is very well made and perhaps more like the FLUKE 289 in accuracy and data storage capability, but this one cost far less. Again, VERY well made. It reads fast, and the manual is useful. Dual display is very nice too.

Hioki DT4282 is a Fantastic Replacement for my Aging Fluke 87
Accurate, fast, and at a good price point. Design, quality of materials, fit and finish is in my opinion a bit higher than for a similar Fluke offering.

This is my first non Fluke meter and I'm impressed
Build quality appears to be equal or better than my newer Fluke meters. Very accurate when compared against know references. Great size to functionality ratio. Could have a more logging memory and having to buy a separate module for PC connection is sub-optimal but all in all I'm very happy with the purchase.

Japanese manufacturing at its peak
Already in love with this meter! Excellent quality plastics, the best test leads I've used to date, and all the functions you could want for a multimeter in this price range. The value is incredible: considering it is on sale for $100 off the regular going price. Overall, a quality product made in Japan. I plan to return later with more in-depth thoughts as I use it over the next few months.
