I love this lamp and my little son loves it too! I purchased it for his work desk (he is at grade K.) It gives enough light for him to do his homework, play and read. The gooseneck is stiff enough to not allow drooping. The lamp is detachable and it's just a great feature because he can use the it as a flashlight to search for his toys under the desk or the bed. The stand is stable enough to not allow tipping over. Fingerprints are not an issue. The lamp is really well made and comes in a very decent packaging. It definitely is worth its price. I believe this product will remain demanded in our household and last for years!

Does everything I expect it to but I wish it had an indicator light the told you when it was fully charged when charging.

Wanted this to work. Glitchy. Wouldn't hold charge. Would not turn on reliably. Great idea. Poorly executed.

This is a decent lamp, providing more than sufficient light for reading purposes. I needed a rechargeable battery powered lamp to use next to a chair. My only complaint is that the charge does not last through an evening's reading, and at this price I think it should. I use it when I know I will be reading less than two hours, and then I charge it overnight. I have a DeWalt rechargeable workshop light that is brighter and last much longer (but with a much harsher light, unfortunately) that I keep nearby as a backup. I paid the full Amazon price for this lamp, not a freebie. I always discount reviews given by those who receive products for free (even when Amazon notes that they are a "verified purchase").

Works really well! I do trade shows sometimes and needed a battery operated lamp for my table. It's the best lamp ever! It doesn't take up any room, well balanced, 3 different brightness settings, and the top part of the actual lamp comes off and you can use it like a flashlight. Great investment for my business.

This would be five stars except for one design flaw. In the dark, it is extremely difficult to find the on switch. Its a flush circle on the top - so very hard to find the exact spot to hit to turn it on. Its also not intuitive to guests that you have to tap lightly to change intensity or hold your finger on the small spot to turn it off. That's too bad, because the light is great and the flat design makes it easy to hang on a wall during a blackout. If they would change the on/off/intensity switch - to put a raised area you could find in the dark - or at least put some florescent paint on the graphic - or glowing area... then it would be five stars and I would order them for virtually every room in the house.

Didn't work after a month.

This lamp has many wonderful features and should be a great purchase. I thought it was until I received it and started using it. It does not hold a charge. What a pain to constantly have to plug it in and recharge it every two days whether you use it or not. They advertise you can take it camping, hiking et . good luck. I cannot recommend it if you want to use it on the battery.
