I ordered this item back in May. I received it on time and was excited to see the brass fittings. The last expandable hose I bought (not from this seller) lasted me over a year and it had plastic fittings. When it finally did burst it was because of high water pressure in the line. The fabric ripped and the tubing ballooned and popped. So when I read the product description from this seller and saw the higher grade fittings on the hose and made the judgement call after reading the reviews, I jumped on it quickly! I had been traveling between the time I bought this product and the first time I used it (which was 2 days ago).When I first attached the hose to the spigot, I was impressed at the seal it created. No water spray coming from the fitting and spigot. With the spray nozzle attached and the water running, the pressure in the line started to build rapidly until the fitting and nozzle burst off the line. First use and I didn't even get a chance to actually use it. I opened up the fitting and fished the tube back through the fabric sleeve. After finally getting the tube end out of the sleeve and reattaching it to the fitting, I noticed that there was no way to ensure that the hose would not just shoot out of the fitting once again! Needless to say, without a hose clamp securing the hose to the fitting, I no longer trust that this is a safe item.

This Expandable Garden Hose is so much better than my old rubber garden hose. It's lightweight, easy to carry and store and it does not kink up like my old hose did. This model has strong brass connectors that won't break like the first expandable hoses with plastic fittings. It even includes a hose handle with different settings. The included brass shut-off valve is very handy as it saves trips back and forth to the water supply shut-off valve.I also found the Hose4Pros from Remarkable Monkey to be priced less than from other companies.Possibly the best benefit is that Remarkable Monkey provides Great Customer Service.When I encountered a problem, the company not only sent a replacement within three days but also upgraded the hose to their best model !These are the reasons why I can confidently recommend products sold by Remarkable Monkey.

I ordered this because of the generally high ratings. I was excited to get this hose for my freshly planted raised bed garden. It did arrive quickly but I could see the box had been previously opened and was taped shut (indicating a previous return of the same item.) I noticed immediately the on/off valve was broken, missing the lever completely. I intended to try the hose and if I liked it to just request a replacement valve. A bit of an inconvenience but fine if the hose was as great as others indicated. However when I hooked up the hose it had a leak from the tube near the end--not the brass fitting which looked good, but the hose itself had a leak that sprayed a steady, fine stream and quickly puddled on the ground below. Also of note, the free spray nozzle looked to be of poor quality, just plastic with a loose trigger. Didn't buy this because of the nozzle and I have much better ones, but it is hardly of the quality implied in the description. Back in the box and off to the seller for a refund. I understand that in manufacturing even a quality product in mass quantities sometimes bad ones make it through. To their credit, customer service was prompt and responsive and issued my refund very quickly. I just wish they had not sent an obviously pre-returned item In the first place without inspecting it, or at all. An inconvenience that easily could have been avoided. I've ordered another hose from a different company and seller.

First let me say while the product functioned it was convenient and very efficient. I had to use it ion a daily bases to clean my dying pooch. So the product lasted approximately 15 days and then failed. That's why can't call it heavy duty. Never got a chance to use in a heavy duty fashion. I had to begin using my regular hose since this became non-functional. It failed at the nozzle end. As you can see in the photos it failed completely there. I can't recommend this hose as it seems like it's not engineered properly. It would seem the end would be properly secured and this one wasn't.

Bought this hose and used it only 3 times before a pinhole leak sprung up right near the shutoff valve portion of the hose. Emailed the company to let them know my disappointment and I was pleasantly surprised to get a response that they would not just replace the hose, but upgrade me to their next level hose. Yes, these hoses are a bit more expensive than typical garden hoses, but their light weight and easy storability make up for the higher price. I appreciate the quick resolution to my issue. I understand that sometimes things happen and won't hold that against the company since they did an outstanding job of taking care of the issue. So far, so good!!!!

This was a great purchase at first. Fast forward to 4 months down the road. I've only used this hose about 5 times in the past 4 months. It now has a tear on the inside, near the brass fitting that screws into the water spicket.The hose was lightweight and easy to carry, but the downside is it's not durable. The only thing that held up was the sprayer nozzle that came with the hose.

Hose didn't even last 4 months until it sprang a leak. Worked fine one day, next day wouldn't hold pressure and found it leaking everywhere. Don't waste the money. The plastic shut off nozzle fell off after about one month too
