Grapple Hook with Rope-Includes Nylon Rope 6/8/10mm 50FT,Functional Grappling Hook and Double Carabiner,for Magnet Fishing/Drag/Tree Limb Removal

I purchased this hook to help me grapple a 12 inch diameter tree 20 feet up the limbs to place the treeunder tension so it would fall away from a fence and outbuilding when I sawed the base of the tree. Itworked like it should and I used it on several other trees of similar diameter to control the fall. It alsoworked great on bundling some small brush and towing it to a burn pile with my yard tractor. Just dragthe limbs onto the 75 foot rope leaving enough rope length to wrap the hook around the brush and hookaround the rope.

The hook is solid, and isn't going to bend like the soft metal that others are accused of having. Welds feel strong. Rope is as I expected. Caribiners are light metal, but they don't have much load for the reason I bought this, which is to throw into the top'ish of medium size trees (arborvitae), and anchor to a tractor, to make the tree fall in that direction. This is perfect for that application.

This grappling hook and the attached rope are nicely made and come in a good box. My only concern is how lightweight the hook is...if I had known I think I would have purchased the larger hook for more weight when tossing it upward. It hooks well and the rope is adequate for medium jobs (like trees, limbs, etc).

I had a couple of large valley oaks with substantial storm damage, many hanging limbs, and several dangerously precarious widow maker branches that needed tending. One tree was too badly damaged, and needed to be felled. I used this grapple several times, and found it extremely useful as a standalone product, but also used it to place tensioning cables for directional safety in felling.Good product. Seems durable enough. Can’t beat stainless. After using it, I decided to buy a second for back-up.

The hook I purchased is great. I didn’t think it was actually stainless steel but it is nonmagnetic. Welds on it are good, and I think it will last for a very long time without issue. My only issue with this product is the D ring that was provided is not the greatest, and will be replaced, as well as the provided rope. Overall it’s a good product. Thank you.

My son wanted this for magnet fishing. He used it all summer and it’s held up very well and went through a lot of abuse. The grappling hook is definitely not a toy/junky its very strong and I didn’t expect the quality to be so good. I would buy it again!

Quality piece for a very reasonable price. No tieing knots or security hook, ready to go. Had a widow maker I couldn't reach so thought I'd give this a try. Took a little practice, my fault not the product, to throw it semi accurately. Worked well!

I like this hook, I use it to snag branches in my pond. I enjoy throwing it. It comes with a nice length of rope and snap links. For the money, great buy! It shipped quick too! Glad I bought it! .
