Classy Kitty 73" 5 Story Cat Tree with Condo and Sky Lookout Sage Green 21x22x73

Whether or not my cats (3, from 5 to 12) end up liking this or not, it is a truly great product. The construction is top notch and solid. It does sway a tiny bit, when my cats jump onto it or from level to level, but it is solid and it stands solidly. It is not going anywhere. The directions are pretty "slim," as mentioned in other reviews; however, the pictures are clear enough. It took all of 20 minutes to assemble with just the tool enclosed in the kit. Also, they even included an extra bolt, just in case!! Usually, there are not enough! The carpet covering is soft, full and perfectly applied without protruding fasteners of any kind. The sisal rope poles are very sturdy and complete. The sage green color was just as pictured in the photo. The condo enclosure is large: my 2 little girls (just under and above 10 lbs.) would both fit inside; my older boy (15 lbs.) would also fit comfortably lying down, but not standing or sitting upright. It is a tight climb up or down the levels of perches and the sisal poles take up a lot of the space on top of the condo enclosure. Even my more agile girl has to negotiate her way up or down. On the other hand, it does leave a smaller footprint in tight spaces. For us, it is a good and worthwhile compromise. Time will tell if my cats take to this. Haven't tried catnip yet, and they are curious. But, even if they end up giving it a miss, my gratitude to North American Pet Products for a quality, pet- and owner-friendly product!!

This thing is fantastic -- ugly, for sure, but great for the cat. He was all over it while I was trying to finish the assembly -- not hard to do, but the directions are totally useless -- showed three sizes for the poles, but there are actually only two. I've got a really big Maine Coon (no papers, but he's got all the characteristics, so that's what we say he is) and he climbs up this thing in about four leaps -- digs his claws into the poles and just romps vertically upward. It shakes a little bit, but is pretty solid. There's no way he could tip it over. He loves scratching those poles, but spends most of his time on the top shelf, looking out the window. The toy was gone in about five minutes. It's a good idea, but not nearly strong enough for Solomon. I wish they offered replacements -- it has a key chain sort of chain thing that asks for another one to be put on, but I have no idea where to get one. Any help with this out there? Anyway, if you've got a big, active cat, this tree will keep him/her busy and happy for hours. Definitely worth the price. Update: I contacted the manufacturer about the toy and they sent a couple replacements and didn't even charge me -- very cool.

This cat tree has several advantages that make it a super buy. * Small footprint - easy to fit into a small apartment or room. * Rope-wrapped columns - keeps carpet shredding, mess, and unsightliness to a minimum. * Perfectly sized and spaced steps for maximum kittycat fun. * Well-packed and easy to assemble. Highly recommended! I have a very active Bengal cat and he goes nuts on this. I'm sure your cat will enjoy it too.
