These have excellent quality audio for what you're paying, however remember these are renewed. Mine would turn off after about 10 minutes of use with music. These speakers have a "stand by" feature, which normally would turn the speakers off after a certain amount of time of no signal, but would turn automatically back on when signal comes back (music starts playing). My buddy has these next to me at work. These however would enter standby mode after 10 minutes no matter what. So about 4 times every hour I have to turn them off and back on

I've had no problems with my speakers, work fine and sound great.So for the reduced price, I'm very happy with them.

This is a renewed product but apparently no one checked it before shipping it again. The left speaker didn't work at all....

Just got these external speakers today and easily set them up. I like lots of bass and these satisfy me. I think they are good quality and will hold up well. The controls are a little stiff and the knobs are smooth so it takes a little extra grip to adjust them. No problem here. All in all I would buy these again.2ND DAY UPDATE:As I mentioned before I like good solid bass and these speakers fill the bill. There is nothing I can say bad about these. The sound is clear and strong. I suggest you don't over drive these. I set laptop output at 50% and then I can crank 'em on with strong bass and no distortion. They sound like much more expensive speakers.
