Will write on anything non-porous EXCELLENTLY!
These Expo Neon Dry Erase Markers are my favorite for writing on anything nonconventional. The color is vibrant, opaque, and only takes one pass to be easily readable. The picture is of a single writing stroke of each color on the back of my TV remote. These have been used on car fan/etc., belts (NEVER wore off!!), writing on windows, dry erase boards, mirrors, coffee grinders (to mark fill depth and grind selection), and so much that I simply can't recall it all. It wipes off easily when you choose to clean it off, but it remains vibrant (for years (as evidenced on the car engine belts). The only thing they have a little trouble with is on paper. It takes a few layers to keep all of it from being absorbed into the paper. Then it is perfectly visible. They do not dry out quickly, either. Great value for the cost. Easy to write with.I cannot recommend these enough.

Easily read, bright, easily applied
I use these to write on high sheen surfaces like mirrors, and windows. They work great, easily read, easily applied, and easily wiped off. If they leave any film after wiping, it is quickly and easily cleaned.

Love the colors
We have a clear weekly dry erase board over a black refrigerator, so these are nice because we can read them over the black. They're easy to erase even though they're not necessarily made for plastic. They also write really brightly and beautifully

Works for Me!
As a college student taking several science classes, I've found that one of the best ways to study things like chemistry mechanisms, biological pathways, and physics problems is writing eveywhere, including windows.I have a large picture window in my study area that I roll a chair to and just start working problems. This helps me with two things: it's different from the sit-at-desk-and-be-studious approach, and it keeps me from being too much of a perfectionist — it'll just be erased anyway. I find this helps me stay focused on the important stuff. My problem was that once it got to be around dusk-ish it was difficult to see my own writing. These markers were the absolutely perfect solution. The bright neon colors were visible deep into late night study sessions. The ink flows well, even when kept semi-horizontal, and stays in place when slightly wipe, keeping the bottom half of my mechanism intact while I add to the top.The colors, too are very versatile with little inconsistency between the colors. They are all brilliant, with only a little fading over time (and I'm talking months). The only issue I have with these markers is their resistance to erasure. They come off clean, but places with slightly more ink deposited may take more elbow grease than a regular dry-erade marker. To me, this is both a pro and a con. It means that I won't accidentally brush away anything important, but it also means it takes me a few more seconds to go from full board — er, window — to clean.Overall, the pros far out weigh the cons, and I use these all the time. They're great.

Work great on mirrors under blacklights!
These were so perfect for a glow party workout to write inspirational words all over the mirrors! I love that they show up so well but are easy to remove. They glide on just like a regular dry erase marker would!

Most Pop
Most of these colors have a nice pop.Far brighter than the expo low odor, and a nice variety of colors for emphasis.Only two of them are suitable for transparent marker boards.Four of them great on a whiteboard, as the yellow doesn't show well on either.

Less Expensive Alternative To Chalk Pens
I had purchased the set of five Oggi Clear Acrylic Canisters and wanted to label them for Flour, Sugar, Brown Rice and White Rice. I also got Decorative Chalkboard Labels. I noticed that one reviewer suggested these to write on the labels. She said they worked well and were much cheaper than getting the chalk pens. She was right these did work well and they wiped off cleanly from the label when I wanted to do a couple over. The price is only a fraction of the cost of the chalk pens, so you might want to try these out.UPDATE: I dropped stars from 5 down to 3I purchased a large chalkboard wall sheet for notes and shopping lists that I wanted to decorate and wanted more vibrant colors ( as I looked at the canisters I realized that the colors were really muted and not as bright as pictured. I looked on Amazon and found a set of eight bright markers with more of a selection of colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink and white by the name Vegas Wand). Of course, they were more expensive at $18.99, BUT they are larger and when you shake them you can feel the liquid in them. The reason, however I dropped the stars from 5 down to 3 was when I wrote with them the difference was VERY noticeable! The colors are very vibrant and they write less like chalk and more like a marker with clear smooth lines. I really felt that I should at least put this information out there for your own evaluation. If you don't really want to do anything artistic and you are just going to make notes that are going to be erased shortly anyway, the Expo Dry Erase Markers should be all you need. However, if you want to decorate and want your project to look more polished, I would definately go with these. The only other info you would need is that you might need a damp cloth to wipe off the chalkboard when you want to erase anything and it will come up clean. With a dry paper towel, it appears like when you were in school and the teacher used the eraser to wipe the chalkboard. I hope this additional information will be helpful in making your decision as to which type of chalk markers to purchase.

Excellent!
These work awesome for the viper illumiscore dart scoreboard. The pins that the scoreboard comes with are powdery liquid chalk pens. These are nice normal, wet, dry erase markers. They wipe off very easily too.
