Rusting Steel
This item is definitely NOT stainless steel as the item is described. I now have a round rust stain on one of my white plates caused by the ring end of one of these skewers! I am totally disappointed! The manufacturers packaging doesn't even state that it is stainless steel, so I was skeptical. Sure enough, one nights soak of the ring tip end in a little water in one of my white plates presented me with a strong rust stain. How could someone advertise this as "Commercial grade stainless steel"? This is being returned.

Stay away from these skewers
After one trip through the dishwasher, there are many rust spots on each skewer. While these may be stainless steel, they are certainly low grade stainless and not worth purchasing.
