I found this book to have some good things and some so-so things about it.First, the so-so things about it: I wish there had been more home decorating samples (examples). Only a few homes were the focus. Although the homes were gorgeous, and the china settings and decorations were VERY pretty, I wish there had been more ideas shown under each Season!Second, please note that this is not a cookbook. The author does state this fact in the book. The very few recipes shown are not that inspiring and very basic. So please note that this is not a cookbook.Now about the good things about this book: The photos are stupendous! I own other NELL HILL decorating books and the photos are always the very best! Also, the homes showcased are very pretty (ie: romantic like homes) , as were the china settings and glassware and flowers.

Nell Hill books are books to enjoy over and over. Very inspiring.

I enjoy books like this book is a joy to look through. There are even some recipes too. It helps to inspire on creative table décor along with fun table settings. Helps me make my table a bit more exciting than just the regular old table setting.

All of Mary Garrity's books are done beautifully. I can always count on them to get great ideas and this one is no exception. The color photographs alone yield wonderful ideas; yet, Garrity also includes written narratives detailing everything from basics to menus to decorator tips. Good reference book to keep close at hand (along with the author's other books).

Mary Carol has done it again. love her things.

This book was all I expected it to be. From other books I own by this author I knew I would be happy with this volumn. It is filled with wonderful entertaining idea for all occasions.

Always love anything Nell Hill

The book is good, but I think I expected more. I was only disappointed in the relatively few pages! What was on them was fabulous.
