Cheap and made in China
As a professional Fashion designer and Tailor with my own brand and shop, I have to have the best tools and equipment for my trade.. I have had hand me downs English scissors /shears from my retired tailors who I trained with.. All top quality thst were made in England.I decided to buy these scissors to test out as some of the reviews looked good.Never trust reviews as most are not professionals but amateurs who don't have a clue about quality or handling of the product..Im disappointed in these scissorss as too lightweight to cut any heavy fabrics.. They seem quite sharp but how long would they stay sharp, I have a sneaky suspicion, not for long. Good quality shears should be forge dropped steel. These are made with a unfamiliar steel which are not usually made into scissors..What the seller failed to do was take the Chinese box the scissors were in and put them in their own branded box.. Big Chinese words all over the box!!!.You couid instantly see they were a cheap pair of scissors. The balance does not seem good either as you need a good balanced pair of scissors to cut accurately. They are OK but not worth £53 I paid for..A good pair of professional tailors 12 inch shears will set you back around £100-plus.Please, be aware when you see "Profesional". CheapScissors in the name..I have just sent scissors back to Amazon
