Omega One Juvenile Turtle Pellets, 3mm Pellets, Floating 3.5 oz

I've bought several different brands, like ZooMed growth formula, UltraFresh baby turtle sticks, Reptomin baby turtle sticks and then the Omega One juvenile turtle pellets, but they always seemed to leave a lot of food behind, except for the last one. I take them out and feed them in separate feeding containers to keep their home tank more clean. They did like the Reptomin sticks, but I don't like how it's all processed foods.The value is relatively inexpensive and I love that they use whole foods instead of fish meal. One thing I wished it had, kinda like the brands UltraFresh and Hikari, was pro-biotics. My baby Reeve’s turtles didn't like the UltraFresh brand that much, but I haven't tried Hikari yet.

Quality ingredients.

Every morning at 8a.m. my turtle swims over to the corn of his tank. Awaiting the blessing of his mechanical food god. Who seems to be incredibly punctual, though sometimes inconsistent. But that's a different story. But Terrence waits, his feet moving a thousand miles an hour while he treads water. His world is slowly illuminated by his mechanical overlord. At 8:15a.m. Terrence's excitement increases drastically as the low whine of plastic gears and an small electric motor springs to life. A shower of food falls all around him. This is the moment his waited for! THIS IS IT!!! This turtle goes full hungry, hungry hippo. Eating every single bite as fast and violently as he can.

A high quality pellet, has a taste that is appealing to my turtles. Much better than most of the other popular brands. I've used all the turtle food brands at some point, after doing some research this is one of the top brands for quality, and of all the brands, and my turtles are the most interested in this one. I still use Hikari and zoomed along with various whole prey items to ensure a varied diet.

I decided to give these a try after searching for small sized pellets for my picky baby RES (he's only about 1.5 inches) They are nice and tiny, I just soak them before feeding to him. My juvenile YBS (4 inches) likes them too, but they are too small for him, he eats them regardless but it's hard for him to find them right away. Overall these are great for smaller turtles!! The ingredients seem decent, and they smell like seafood so they're appealing to the turtles 🐢

My baby red earred slider, Toni, gulped this down and he is a picky eater. It has ingredients that are healthy not fillers. It is a nice small sized pellet for a baby. The price is a great value. Overall I am quite impressed with this nutritionally, healthy, affordable food for Toni and I know he loves it.

My turtles love these! I also have noticed a significant change in the rate of their growth. Not sure if that's because of these pellets or not. Has a lot of good ingredients for your turtles. Pretty much includes all the nutrients that they need. Have tried a couple of other pellet brands, but always come back and rebuy this one!

I feed my map turtles these size pellets because they have a hard time eating the regular small size turtle pellets. When I did feed the normal size pellets my map turtles would spit it out because of the size. These tiny pellets work great and insure that they are eating enough to stay alive.
