butter, artificial flavor and soybeans? Not the kind of coffee I'm used to.
This coffee is not natural. The listed ingredients was quite surprising. It lists butter, artificial flavor and soybeans along with coffee beans. I've never had coffee that listed butter and soybeans as ingredients for coffee. This coffee has an odd smell and taste to it. It was not what I expected. I live in So Cal and I've tasted Vietnamese coffee before and this is not what it tastes like. I used a french press to make this coffee and it just didn't taste right. Coffee should be made from just coffee beans and that's it. Butter, soybeans and artificial flavors have no business being in coffee.

Great taste
Great taste compares to the price. A must buy if you are a fan of Vietnamese coffee. It serves well with condensed milk.

phindeli coffee
The reviews don't match the taste. Tasted more like Soy than coffee based, never again. I would not recommend this.

This was recommended by a friend who loved the cholocate flavor of the coffee, I also love vietnamese coffees and have had them from Seattle to DC. I understand that vietnamese coffees are roasted in butter oil, so I get the butter as an ingredient, but I find that in the 'gold' coffee I taste an additional flavoring that's unpleasant to me, kind of like straw and chocolate. In the supreme blend, the smell of the flavoring is strong, kind of a vanilla-like smell, reminiscent of supermarket coffees. I'd like a version better without added flavoring.

Tasty and convenient
I always like the Vietnamese filter coffee, and whenever I have time, I use the filter to make my coffee, one cup at a time, I enjoy looking it drop by drop falling in the cup, but when I'm busy, I can still use the coffee maker machine, just set the time, and go doing my job, when I come back, my coffee is ready. both ways turn out to be great. PhinDeli is a kind of coffee that you could use with both ways, very convenient, you can make it strong or light as your wish. If you have time, you enjoy it the Vietnamese traditional way, if don't, use the quick way.

Great Vietnamese coffee
This coffee is perfect for Vietnamese style coffee and condensed milk. It brews strong through a Phin filter and can easily be poured over ice without detriment to the flavor. If you are a fan of Vietnamese-restaurant style iced coffee but are sick of paying $4 for a small cup, buy this!
