Works, and fixed my Thinkpad.
I wasn't 100% certain this would bring my aging Thinkpad back to life. It took care, a small magnetized Phillips-head screwdriver (I just stuck a magnet to my screwdriver), and a magnifying headset to see things. The connections are small, but they click in place when everything is lined up. It's been working perfectly ever since.

Great Product
Greatly replacement fan. Installed it on my X1 yogo and no longer getting errors.

Too big
While this aligns in the spot and will fit over the CPU, the fan casing is too bulky and does not allow the back cover to sit flat. I have a Lenovo X1 Yoga Gen 1. The description says it fits. Not true. If you don't mind a little bump in the back case, go for it.
