Good product. Looks great on car. Easy to put on car.

I live in the city, and street parking is the norm. You walk down the street and see beautiful cars, then look at their bumpers - very sad. "Bumper Contact Parking" (i.e. back up until you make contact with the car behind you) is the norm. Although I have a parking garage space for my car, getting around town requires street parking. So when I first moved here and saw all the bumpers ruined I started looking for bumper protection products on Amazon. For the front of my car (a Mini Cooper) the license plate is/would be the first point of contact, so I bought one of those thick, rubber protective license plate covers (great reviews) to protect the front of my car. After much research for a rear bumper protection product, I decided on the Pacer Performance strips for two reasons. One, the reviews were consistently outstanding. Second, most of the other products were far inferior in terms of providing protection. These are heavy duty - I mean REALLY heavy duty. They are made out of hard rubber, very good quality, and between the two of them they cover the entire rear bumper of my Mini.You would think from looking at the product photo that they're more for protection than aesthetics, but once applied they really look cool and sporty - and boy do they protect your bumper. One word of caution - be absolutely positive of your placement on your bumper (location and level) before you press even one small portion of the product on your car. The car adhesive is extremely strong, and once you make contact you CANNOT remove it and if it is crooked (not level) or not in the right location - you're out of luck. I went so far as to put a piece of masking tape below where I want them to go and checked it to ensure it was level, and THEN gently pressed one of the product on my car and worked from that end down to the other end. There are two matching pieces. The end result, again, is really attractive and no worries anymore about bumper scrapes and dings. Highly recommend and would buy again.

The photo in the ad should make it clear that this is a two piece set. Each half measures what is described. So it’s that x 2. It’s thicker than the “other” one(s), so more space between your car and whoever might hit it with theirs trying to get out of the parking. Or you can tap the wall of your garage sometimes now. The adhesive is GM. It looks good as a two piece guard attachment on the rear end of my 350Z. Need I say more?

I had this on my rear bumper for 5 years and they served their purpose beautifully. It's the first time I've had a car that didn't have a bunch of scratches on rear bumper. By new car is white though (last one was grey) but I rather have this than scratches!

Bought these to serve as rear bumper guards on my car. They do not span the entire bumper - they are a bit short and leave a gap of about 1/2 ft. in the middle of the bumper (if you use them as directed where they wrap the edges of the bumper). Also, they are narrow, so should another car bump you above or below where the guard is placed, it will not serve its purpose. It seems they would work better as bumper guards if they were bigger overall - longer and wider. They are a bit too short and too narrow for effective bumper protection.

THESE HAVE BEEN GREAT FOR MY TRUCK. DOUBLE THEM UP FOR EXTRA PROTECTION IN NARROW SPACES.

This product is perfect. i love the fact that its long enough to curve around the side of the bumpers thus protecting my car from those idiots who pull out of their parking spot without eyeing the corner in-front of them.it does the job right. i bought it 1 week after getting my car because my car was sparkling new with no scratches. after the 1st week i started noticing small scratches on the back and from bumper from other cars who park on my street. i even saw my idiot neighbor backing up and stopping after his back bumper touch the front of my carso i bought these.they are well made, thick, and long enough to cover the important spots.tricky part is installing them, its easy to install (peel the sticker and apply) but hard to balance. you can end up with a crocked looking instillation if you are not careful. so keep that in mind.other then that. they are well worth it..
