These paints are designed to produce a wide range of realistic and durable finishes. Designed only for airbrush use, this paint should be sprayed at 12-15psi and at a distance of 2-3in from the surface.

Shiny
Very shiny. I sprayed fiberglass with airgun, & looked metallic. Seems thin, but sprayed on very nicely.

Very Nice
Works very well. I used it on foam to create realistic foam armor for a costume. I recommend using a black base (black foam or paint the foam black) because otherwise it’s not thick enough to cover completely. It looks great though, like real metal!

The best chrome paint for airbrushing
Beautiful chrome paint, applied correctly you can archive a mirror looking chrome effect, however, is not for beginners. You'll need to apply a very, VERY, shiny base black before painting with this. I'd recommend using the Alclad II Base Black for that. You'll also need a compressor with adjustable pressure, they recommend spraying using between 12 and 15 PSI, so make sure to follow the instructions in the bottle. If done properly, you'll get a nice shiny mirror looking chrome finish, otherwise, you'll get something similar to an aluminum finish. Practice before trying to apply the piece you are working. It is important to know that the fumes from this are very strong and toxic, so you'll need a proper respirator mask, spray in a well ventilated room and I would recommend using a spraying booth to minimize the fumes. Never underestimate the toxicity of lacquers, protect yourself! All in all, a great paint, that needs the proper equipment and technique to use correctly.

Poor quality
1 bottle was 75% empty, but had no spills or leaks. This was deliberately sold defective.

Great Product
I love this product. I use it for clear coating objects painted with Alclad 107 chrome paint.

Very good chrome/ metal look
I have been trying to find a nice metallic paint like this for years. I am so happy I did, the results speak for themselves.

Did they change the formula?
The mixture doesn't appear to be the same as years past. This was extra watery and didn't lay down well at all. I've used Alclad II chrome for awhile. This bottle just didn't seem "right". It was more like the Alclad II alumiluster, rather than the Chrome. The cap was also already cracked. I couldn't remember but I could've sworn they were "sealed" before. Very disappointed especially for the price.
